"We had an amazing time at White Olive Premium celebrating a friend’s 70th birthday (7 of us ladies). The staff were amazing especially Jenny and Maria on reception. The staff in the restaurant were great they even helped us on our friends birthday by providing a cake a birthday banner and balloons. They even joined in singing happy birthday to her. The rooms were immaculate and the whole hotel was too. Did I mention the food??? Wow 🤩 there was something for just about everyone there. One of our party is celiac and the staff helped her identify what she could and couldn’t eat. They were so so helpful. I could not find fault with this whole hotel it was amazing. We had a great few days here and I’m already checking out prices for a holiday here with family next year. Our group also spoke about going back next year too. 🤩🤩🤩 Make sure you do the turtle island boat trip we booked at reception for €20….best €20 I've ever spent!"

"Have just spent 4 nights at White Olive with friends and had a great time. The hotel is very clean and modern, location is great with everything you need in walking distance. Shower leaks around the screen unless you point the shower head directly at the wall - which is near on impossible to shower fully in that position. There are 4 pools at the hotel, but because of how the complex is built, you can’t get the sun all day, and in the afternoon, spots in the sun are limited. The food was a bit inconsistent, some days there was loads of choice, others a bit limited. But there’s loads of fresh salads, meats, fruit, pasta etc. We always found something to eat and did enjoy it on a few occasions. It was also never hot, more warm. It’s not a huge buffet and can feel a bit canteen like with people queuing to get to the food. The drinks aren’t great, the cocktails are ok but basic, small and served in flimsy plastic cups. The only bar open in the evenings is the one over the road which had no atmosphere and serves the same drinks in slightly bigger plastic beakers. It also closes at 11pm. The reception staff were brilliant, helpful and friendly as were the rest of the staff we dealt with. The downside for us was the noise in the mornings. We were unlucky enough to have the housekeepers closet outside our door. So as soon as the housekeepers start for the day there’s no sleeping in. That along with the building work behind the hotel which starts around 7-8am. I’d stay again for the location, and would recommend if you want somewhere to use as a base and like us intend on filling up before heading out. I wouldn’t recommend if your whole holiday is centred around being in the hotel all day and night and not wanting to venture out."
