Elanthi Village Apartments

"We had a wonderful weeks stay here , it was our first visit to Zante. Apostolis and Angela are amazing hosts they even upgraded us to an apartment when we arrived. They make you feel very welcome and nothing is too much trouble. The breakfasts they provide are so delicious with homemade items that are so tasty, pastries, cakes, delicious coffee and lots more. Angela's omelettes were the best we have ever had. The breakfasts certainly set you up for the day thank you Angela so much. We loved the patio seating area for the breakfasts and where you could also sit and enjoy a drink and a chat in the evenings with other guests and Apostolis and Angela. We had lots of interesting conversations during our stay. We had a hired car and there was plenty of parking right next to our apartment. The area is quiet , perfect if you want a peaceful place to stay but still in walking distance to the restaurants, supermarkets,etc. It's about25/ 30 min walk to the beach and the strip. The airport is very close, just a 10 min drive away. We travelled around the island very easily from here in our hired car and would definitely recommend hiring a car as there is so much to see. Zante Town is a short drive away and a really nice place to wander around. The beaches are very nice and lots to visit. We were here late October( but still swam in the sea , water was lovely) so a lot of facilities, restaurants, supermarkets were closed for the season. But we found all we needed for a lovely quiet holiday. We will definitely be returning, and want to thank Apostolis and Angela for welcoming us so warmly and making our first visit to Zante so special. "I've really enjoyed my week here, its end of season so its very quiet. The hosts are just lovely and accommodating. Angelique and her husband will go out of their way to help, many times he drove me to the beach, super market or the next town. The accommodation is kept very clean and I slept so well here, as there is no traffic and the bed was comfortable. The walk to the beach took me about 25 minutes (I'm a slow walker) en route is a lovely bakery with good coffee, the beach is kept spotless and in October there were no more than 15 people at any time, the water was warm too. The Cat Cafe does wonderful desserts btw. Of course I did the Jeep trip and boat trip, which is a good way to see the island. Next time I'd probably hire a car to get around. Elanthi Apartments is a lovely place and in a quiet location. But near enough to the town if you want busier nights."

"Just returned from a wonderful week at Elanthi Apartments. We were met by Apostoli and Aggeliki who showed us to our apartment which was an upgrade. They were both very helpful. The apartment was comfortable and clean. Apostoli drove us into town for a meal on the first night. Aggeliki makes wonderful breakfasts of homemade pastries, cakes and jams, she also does a great omelette if you ask. We sat on the terrace and had drinks with them every evening and they advised us on the best local restaurants and places to go. I would recommend car hire as although there are restaurants within walking distance the roads are not well lit and have ditches on both sides."
