"Once again we returned to Athina Apartments. Once again a great welcome, and we were certainly looked after at the family run apartments. Weather exceeded our expectations, one bad night, and a bad start to one morning weatherwise. Quite a few staying at the apartments, some regular faces now, as we have returned three times. There are plenty of sun loungers. Rooms spotless, with a lot of the rooms now having been completely renovated. The resort seemed to be quieter this yr, that previous years. Plenty of restaurants to eat out. A big thanks to Athina, Ellie, George, Dennis, and house keepers. Certainly will be back & recommend"

"We arrived at the property and were welcomed by a very kind lady. In general, all the staff proved to be very friendly, organized, and polite, definitely a positive note. The property is slightly dated and internally it is not particularly well-maintained. The environment is clean, however, but the rooms would need an update and modernization. The bathrooms also turn out to be a bit uncomfortable. An important aspect to point out concerns the water: there are probably problems related to the water network in the area. The water is salty, so it is not possible to use it to brush your teeth. For the same reason, I recommend especially to women to have fresh water available to rinse off after using the bathroom or taking a shower. In some surrounding areas, there is also a smell of sewage. From what we could observe, these seem to be issues with the area and not directly with the property. Moving on to the services, however, the location is really good: the property is located behind the main street, so in a quiet area but still close to everything. A few steps away there are markets, rentals, and several restaurants. It is also a fairly convenient property even for elderly people. The poolside bar is very positive, offering breakfasts, dinners, and practically everything one might need during their stay. A special mention goes to the bar staff, who were truly super kind and professional. Also keep in mind that air conditioning is paid for separately. If you choose a room on the upper floors, I highly recommend adding it, especially during the hottest periods. In conclusion, the property has everything needed for a comfortable stay, especially thanks to the location, the services, and the kindness of the staff. It is a real shame, however, that the rooms have not been renovated: with an interior modernization project, this property could be enhanced much more and reach a decidedly higher level."

"Another wonderful holiday in Kalamaki! We stayed at Athina Apartments and, once again, couldn’t have been happier with our choice. The location is brilliant — everything you need is within easy reach, with plenty of lovely restaurants nearby and the beach just a relaxing 10-minute walk away. We are a family of three and were lucky enough to stay in one of the refurbished ground-floor apartments. The room was spacious, fresh and beautifully presented, with a comfortable double bed and a single bed. The new bathroom was excellent, and the large new wardrobe was a real bonus, with more than enough space for everything. The staff are absolutely lovely. Athina, Ellie and all the cleaning staff are so friendly, welcoming and accommodating. They really do go out of their way to make you feel at home and are always happy to help. The pool bar is also a great place to unwind, especially in the evening after a nice meal out. It has such a relaxed and friendly atmosphere and is the perfect spot for a drink, a chat and making new friends. Dennis and George are the perfect bar hosts and always make you feel so welcome. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay once again and would happily recommend Athina Apartments to anyone looking for a friendly, comfortable and perfectly located place to stay in Kalamaki. In fact, this was our fourth year staying at Athina Apartments, and we’ve already booked again for next year! That probably says everything you need to know. We absolutely love it here and can’t wait to come back! 🌞🇬🇷❤️"
