"Recently stayed at the resort as a family with an under 2 year old. This resort is great for families of all ages, it's very busy and there are a lot of kids so if those 2 things aren't for you then perhaps look elsewhere!
Rooms:
We stayed in a partial sea view room in the main building. The view was amazing and the sea was clearly visible. The room itself was spacious with a large bed and plenty of room for little ones cot. It was well equipped with a TV, safe, fridge, Nespresso machine as well as a standard hotel style hairdryer in the bathroom. The air conditioning worked well though it did stop working when there was a power cut but the staff fixed it within half an hour of contacting reception.
The only gripe about this room type is the noise from the evening entertainment. If you're sensitive to noise then these rooms are not for you, the balcony door does a pretty good job of muffling the sound but the shows are definitely still audible, we use a white noise machine so further helped mitigate it but yeah, I'm sure there are rooms further out that are more quite.
Entertainment:
The above being said, we did enjoy a couple of the mini discos and paw patrol show they put on at 8pm, our daughter had a blast and the staff do a great job even throughout the day, they also sell personalised shirts which are a cool memento.
Pools:
The pools are a really strong part of this resort with lots to choose from. There is a main pool, smaller rectangular pool used for the games throughout the day, splash pool for kids, infinity pool with swim up bar and a water park which is open twice a day with a break around lunch time. The pools are all clean and covered with lifeguards, during our stay they weren't heated but by the afternoon were warm enough. The water park has a selection of slides for all ages and again is clean and well staffed.
Sunbeds were reserved but we went down around 9:30 each day and never struggled to get one and more became free throughout the day, there are lots of different areas of sunbeds so we never saw anyone going without.
Food:
The food was okay. The buffet offers a very large selection at all meals and the freshness and cooking was all very good. Some dishes are a bit of a standard all inclusive fayre but compared to other places we've stayed at this was definitely higher. Each night has a theme and for the most part are quite good, the Asian night was a bit of a let down for us as we're quite the connoisseurs of Asian cuisine, it felt a bit poor. The drink selection is also fairly limited and the "juice" isn't fresh fruit juice but concentrate instead so it wasn't to our taste. That aside, the buffet definitely does a good job and didn't leave us longing to eat elsewhere.
The snack bar offered a typical selection of beige food throughout the day, pizzas, burgers, fries etc but did also have a noodle section which was different. The menu was the same throughout, it served it's purpose well. Some sweet treats in there would have been nice.
The ice-cream/popcorn shop was great for a sweet treat each day.
We visited the lagoon Asian restaurant for our 1 free a la carte meal, it was okay but I don't think I'd have wanted to pay for it.
The other bars around the resort have a wide range of drinks, the local beer Zythos is actually pretty good and the measures for cocktails seemed non existent which is always a bonus.
Staff:
All of the staff we interacted with were great be it cleaners, bar staff, ice cream parlour staff, restaurant staff or entertainment, they were all very friendly and would always greet you in the mornings.
Aob:
The reason I've given this a 4 and not a 5 is due to a few things mentioned above, predominantly the noise at night and some of the food.
The food timings for us were a bit off, lunch and dinner both started a touch late as we usually give our daughter her nap around 12:30 and bed around 7:00 the restaurant opening for lunch at 12:15 and 18:15 for dinner made this difficult. For a lot of lunch we ate in the snack bar but the food was quite sameish, dinner timings just resulted in us altering bed times.
For such a family focused resort it'd be great if lunch can start a touch earlier say 11:30/11:45 and dinner 5:30/5:45
Overall I'd definitely recommend this resort, it offers a huge amount to do, something for everyone to eat, great staff and great rooms."
