"We stayed at hotel Naturra on the 20th June 2026 for what shouldve been 11 nights.
I'll do the good points first.
Quiet relaxing location,private beach, nice views. Main resturaunt has nice desserts, a huge honey slab which i found impressive and ate bits of that everyday with crepes and fruit which were ok . lemonade is ok, some salad and the occasional themed night they do. Pool food is decent to hot dogs and pizza.
A la carte resturaunt decent (book in advance at the hotel). Lots of cute cats around the complex. Good sized adult pool and childrens pool. Little shop to get all your snacks ect.
Outside the complex, Romeo's taverna 20 min walk to the left of the hotel entrance, highly recommend, food is delicious, decent prices and the owner is lovely and welcoming.
Kos old town is a 10 min bus ride,12 euro by taxi or a 1 hour walk from the hotel. You can get the bus to the right of the entrance half way down the road (white bus stop) 4 euro for the bus one way.
Bad points:
Upon arrival you have to pay 165 euro climate tax ( goverment request) in cash only(atm at the mini market in the hotel) to reception.
If you miss dinner on arrival they will provide a plate of food, however we didnt touch ours as it did not look nice at all an had ants crawling over it under the cling film within a short time so we left it and went hungry the first night .
Rooms are in need of updating as stated by many other travellers who have been there, i would say for UK readers it reminds me of a premier inn room, its nothing special at all , definetly not 5 star! bathroom is the same. small terrace, we booked a superior double room with a land view, It doesnt look like the photos on the TUI website so dont be fooled by it. There were two single beds put together and then another seperate single bed . Beds were comfy.
We had a view of a field , a partial view of the sea and some air con units. In the evening it is quiet and the hedgehogs came out. nmesh on the sliding door was ripped so bugs got in.
Air con in the room is very loud. 2 bottles of water in the fridge on first day after that you have to buy your own from the shop. coffee machine and pods are though.
The Pool ,this infuriated me on a daily!! only once could we use the pool an loungers because any other day they were all taken as i found out off another couple we met that people were getting up between 4_6am to put there towels out , so if you dont get up at that time forget about getting round the pool when your there , people were leaving there towels there all day when they werent even there ! ridiculous and unfair to others , we were having to take our towels to the pool bar area min the sun and put two chairs together to sunbathe on several occasions. Hotel did noting about it.
There is nothing to do in and around the hotel, its quite boring, there is a games room by the foyer for kids but theres not much there and we never saw anyone in there either. only the music from the pool bar is on , there is no animations team for activities, there is entertainment for the evening after youve had your meal but its not very good , just singing mainly and some dj down by the pool area.
Food: The main resturaunt is an eye opener, most food isnt very good , we didnt eat much of anything as nothing really looked that appetzing tbh, dissapointing as are the drinks , beer is done by half pints and my partner said it was like drinking really weak beer you cant get drunk off it at all, same with the cocktails , everything on the list more or less tatses the same, they only use like 3-4 ingredients for each cocktail , they dont shake it and to me it was like drinking undiluted squash, awful
Some staff were really rude at the main bar, everytime we ordered a drink they never said hello never smiled and they just said yes and there you go , the one girl who served us pulled faces and dropped her fake smile as soon as my partners back was turned at the bar, i couldnt find the straws so asked one of the servers and they said here here quite abrubtly and tutted at me. No people skills at all.
We checked out 3 days before our holiday was due to finish there it was just boring food was not good or the drinks and nothing to do, We went to Kardemena for the remainder of out holiday best decsion we made it was fantastic and a world away from Naturra . After asking to check out early on the day , a manager came out and asked why and said "you didnt think to tell us!?" I said i dont get what the problem is we just want to check out please and go to another hotel as its boring here. I didnt go into detail with the rest of the issues and nothing wouldve changed had i mentioned anything beforehand anyway , because lots of reviewers on here have said the same thing for the last 4 years and noting has changed so why would my feedback make any difference . I had told the TUI rep which i also told the hotel they were ok in the end about it.
I would not recommend this hotel if you want to go out for meals ect outside the complex unless you have a car as there is knowhere to walk to or if you have children
