"AVOID AT ALL COSTS Nauseating smells of sewage and trash. After about ten complaints, an air freshener was placed during the day, all day long….a horrible smell. Traces of dampness….dampness+trash+air freshener A shameful and lying manager who does not even take the trouble to come see his clients to try to understand…. For a 4-star hotel, it is a disgrace The photos absolutely do not reflect the reality of the hotel. The pool is tiny and dirty, same for the jacuzzi."

"A lovely hotel with a warm, family-like atmosphere where you really feel at home. The food here is excellent – every evening there is a choice of different cuisines, so everyone can find something they enjoy. The hotel garden is also a very pleasant place to relax and spend time. Every day, you are welcomed by three beautiful cats who are clearly very well looked after. ❤️ The staff throughout the hotel are incredibly friendly, helpful and professional. They know how to make you laugh, but at the same time they are always ready to solve practically any situation that may come up. Everyone speaks excellent English, so there is absolutely no problem communicating or arranging anything you need. A special thank you to Anna at the lobby bar – one tequila and Malibu, please 😉 Also a big thank you to Manos for his great hospitality at the pool bar and in the restaurant, and to the lovely room service lady whose name we unfortunately didn’t find out (room 201). Our room was cleaned perfectly every day and everything we needed was replenished, from soap and toilet paper to coffee. It was also never a problem to arrange a different time when we were “ambushed” by housekeeping during our afternoon nap. 😊 We also really enjoyed the connection between the hotel grounds and the beach. Sun loungers are available free of charge, and the entrance to the sea is a mixture of sand and stones. Water shoes are definitely useful, but not absolutely necessary. The hotel is relatively small, but that is exactly what we liked about it. It gives the whole place a peaceful, personal and welcoming atmosphere that you often don’t get in larger resorts. There really isn’t much more to say – we highly recommend this hotel and would be very happy to come back again. 😊"

"As with previous reviews, this hotel is very good. Food, lots of choice and mostly tasty. Only afternoon tea a bit disappointing with a tray of sandwiches, fruit and maybe a pud or two, nothing spectacular. But on AI you fill up at breakfast lunch and dinner and there’s little room for anything else. Rooms good, housekeeping good but had to ask for extra loo roll, decaffeinated coffee sachets not replaced and had to use a towel for a shower mat as it wasn’t replaced. Minor points but worth knowing. The beach has been described. Not good for infirm or young. You have to pick your way carefully over natural stone ledge which is uneven until you hit the sand. Hard when it’s a bit wavy and you can’t see and are being battered a bit. But once over it’s nice. Clear warm water. Lounges plentiful but close together and the sun is behind you all day so you struggle to stay in the sun / shade as you want because they are situated so close to each other. Good trips booked across the road and cheap for a full day. Get the number 20 bus in and out of town for 2.20 each way. Busy bus though and you might have to stand for the half hour journey. The old town lovely and worth a trip. Overall good hotel. Lucky with the sunny weather and calm seas most days which helps getting in and out of the sea. Pool nice but deep end is most of it! Good beach bar with nice staff (and reception, restaurant and cleaning all lovely). Wine a bit naff but I coped! Beer ok. Rent a big towel for your stay for 10 euros refunded. I would say it’s a Dutch/german hotel mainly with a few English."
