"What an amazing place! We were here last year and made the decision to come back again this year — honestly, the best choice we could have made. From the moment we arrived, the reception staff were incredibly warm and welcoming and seemed genuinely pleased to see us back. Our room was amazing, and we were lucky enough to be given a fantastic sea view. The room itself was incredibly clean and well presented, with a nicely stocked fridge that was restocked every morning. We were disappointed to find that the lower cocktail bar is no longer there, but honestly, it didn’t spoil the holiday at all. The top cocktail bar was more than adequate. The service was incredibly quick, and the staff were efficient, friendly and very chatty. Sunbeds — absolutely no problem! We liked our usual two, the same ones we had last year, but even around 10am there were still loads of sunbeds available. The service around the pool was great in the morning, although once it got busier after lunch, it could be a little more difficult to attract the staff. But listen, that really didn’t spoil anything. It was no problem walking the 30 steps to the bar, and 90% of the time the staff would bring the drinks back over anyway. They all worked so hard and were always super friendly - fantastic service! The food, as far as we were concerned, was amazing. My wife particularly enjoyed the fish dishes, while I loved the selection of meats. Breakfast was fantastic too, with plenty of choice. The White Pearl restaurant down by the seafront, which you have to book, was again amazing. It was great to see the same two waiters who remembered us from last year. They are great fun, love a laugh and we really enjoyed their banter. The wasps were also much better than last year — they were a nightmare in 2025! The precautions that have been put in place have definitely helped, so well done for that. And then there’s the sunset. Still the best! Perhaps even better than our Rhossili sunrise back home in South Wales. 🌅 Overall, it was another amazing experience and definitely in our top three holiday experiences across 4- and 5-star resorts. A huge mention for the buggy guys too. They were fantastic — always joyful, laughing and incredibly helpful. They wouldn’t even let me touch our three suitcases! 😂 Applause for the cleaners as well. They work incredibly hard, especially around the pool area, and deserve huge credit for keeping everything looking so clean. There’s no animation team, but this isn’t that type of resort — and that’s actually something we prefer. The entertainment was good, not necessarily going to win any talent shows 😂, but it was more than adequate and enjoyable. The fitness team were energetic, bubbly and clearly loved what they do. I would love to mention every member of staff by name, but that would be impossible. However, there were a few people I really wanted to mention. Warren — the biggest smile ever! Nothing was too much trouble for him, no matter how busy the main restaurant was. Sofia was also extremely efficient. Kostas, who was here last year, was his usual welcoming self, complete with that reassuring handshake! It was especially fantastic to see Gregory again. He really helped make our holiday last year, so it was great — although not surprising — to see that he has been promoted. He still makes the best cocktails, and it turns out he’s a great singer too! Sorry we didn’t get to say goodbye on our last night; he was just far too busy. I’m sure Atlantica will keep him around as a future talent! And finally, a huge applause and thank you to Imelda. What a star she is. So welcoming, chatty and fantastic at coordinating the staff in the main restaurant. She is incredibly efficient and professional, and we genuinely enjoyed her company. We even parted ways on our last days with some amazing advice from her about life and love — thank you, Imelda. ❤️ We will definitely return in the future. "The most amazing hotel in a tranquil setting overlooking the beautiful coastline! The rooms are amazing and always chose a sea view if you can! Food, drink, facilities, pool, spa and beach to name just a few are wonderful! Super special mention to the guest relations manager, Eleni who was always on hand before and during our stay with excellent help and advice to make our stay so wonderful. She is an absolute credit to the hotel! Special thanks also to George in the restaurant, his wife at the White Pearl for a tremendous selection of meals and of course, the housekeepers, buggy drivers, bar tenders, waiters, waitresses, receptionists and the spa staff and of course anyone we missed! To add, get yourself into Veryigo restaurant too as the food is out of this world! Thank you for a great stay, without you all it wouldn’t have been the same! We are already planning a return trip! Regarding gluten free. Prior to and in arrival we made clear that one of our party was celiac. As we arrived late we were advised to meet with the food and beverage manager and Kostas (who is a legend) we went through everything thoroughly and from meal one everything was perfect in all the restaurants. In the buffet make yourself known to Chef George (he wears a black jacket ) and he’ll look after you. In the morning he’ll ask you what you want for dinner and for the evenings in the buffet my partner had carbonara, fresh pizza and spaghetti with an amazing sauce! Don’t worry everything will be great! Lastly for us UK citizens, it is a bit of a faff getting into the country and it’s not uncommon for waits of 1-2 hours to get through the border! Bag collection is slow too as when we arrived they put 3 flights of luggage on one carousel! All in all this delayed arrival at the hotel."
