"Me and my friend visited here for 5 days. I have to say we had a lovely time, I read some mixed reviews but we really thought it was great. The staff are really friendly and accommodating, happy to answer any questions and we requested extra pillows the night we arrived and it was given to us immediately. The boss is very funny and interacted with staff in the evenings, everyone enjoyed each other’s company. I would say the cleaning of the rooms could be better, they don’t give fresh towels or anything like that. I’m sure if you ask they would but I always thought it was a standard with a room clean. The snack bar was good and had a good amount of options, the lady behind it Roila, was so lovely, really friendly and made us a great granola bowl, she worked hard everyday! The rooms are basic and small but that suited us as we wasn’t in there during the day anyway, it had everything you needed, only thing I do wish we had was more surface space in the bathroom for our toiletries and also a better view from our balcony, we had roofs surrounding us that looked out onto the street out the front but that’s all. The atmosphere at the hotel was great, the music all day was really good and catered for all age ranges. All the staff and guests were very friendly, it made our stay at the hotel much more pleasant. I didn’t find the hotel busy as such so we didn’t have to fight for a sun lounger or anything like that, however I can’t say the same for the early summer months. The food was basic and I wouldn’t say there was a huge choice each day but overall I’d say there would have been something for anyone, veggie and meat options. There are also a few restaurants within walking distance. One is just over the other-side of the road and that is lovely and really reasonably priced. I know people had moaned about the cats but honestly they were no trouble. They were so cute and most days I found myself trying to find them! They’re well looked after too. We went into Corfu old town, this was an easy journey, the bus stop is a two minute walk from the hotel, it’s €5 return and takes about 35 mins. During our stay I had my birthday and the staff had placed a bottle of wine and a fruit platter in our room which was a really nice touch, thanks to kristina who made that happen. Overall I’d say we’d actually come back here, it was perfect for what we expected for a 3 star hotel. Special thanks to Mino, Kristina, Roila and Michael for being so welcoming and accommodating."

"If you want a good location for the beach and Corfù old town, this is the place for you. The beach was within a 10 min walk and the further you go around the bay the nicer the waters are plus many gorgeous places to sit and people watch with a drink or do water sports. The buses run every half hour outside the hotel, only 2.50 (per person) each way, but I learnt if you get tickets from a machine they are even cheaper. The staff are very nice and are accommodating where they can, reception is open 24 hours per day. Bar staff too. The hotel is probably typical for a 3* hotel, the restaurant was more of a canteen. Food was mediocre at best. The best night was a bbq mixed girl, but overall it’s samey and not very warm. With the cost of the hotel, we were able to afford some meals out which balanced things. La Casa opposite was lovely, just over the road. I would also take your own coffee granules, unless you want to be woken up for all the wrong reasons! The bedding was changed daily, but the room wasn’t cleaned. This included no fresh cups for tea or fresh towel for a bathmat. The bathrooms all have frosted doors - small and well lit - this might cause a privacy issue for some. We learnt to love the hotel in the end, depending on what you want will determine if this is the right place for you. We had a lovely holiday in the end."
