"We stayed at this hotel for three nights (26th–29th October) as a family of three, myself, my husband, and our 2-year-old, while visiting Disneyland Paris. After reading some poor reviews, we were a bit apprehensive, but as the package was a fraction of the cost of the on-site hotels, we decided to give it a go for our last-minute adventure to the Mouse House. We were pleasantly surprised by how good it was!
The hotel is set back from the main roads, making it quiet, and the surrounding trees make it feel more secluded than it actually is. We received a warm and friendly welcome on arrival and the staff were fantastic with our toddler throughout our stay.
Our room was located on the second floor of the main block, which made it easy to get to the café and bus stop. The room itself was far larger than expected, a little dated, but spotlessly clean and well-equipped. There were no coffee-making facilities, but we didn’t really need them as we spent so little time in the room. A large travel cot was provided for our son, and he was very comfortable in it. The bed was firm but comfortable, with extra pillows available in the wardrobe.
The bathroom was compact but functional, with good water pressure and a lovely hot shower. Our only minor gripe was the absence of a hand towel. Although the walls were a little thin, we never experienced any real noise issues, and even though our room was above the shuttle pick-up area, we weren’t disturbed at all.
Breakfast each morning was plentiful and varied; pastries, breads, fruits, yogurts, cheeses, meats, and a small hot selection. I didn’t try the hot food, but everything else was fresh and regularly replenished. The coffee from the machines was actually quite good. Breakfast does get busier from around 7:20, so arriving earlier is a good idea. The hotel asks that guests don’t bring bags into breakfast or take food away, which is understandable.
Behind the breakfast area, there’s a small animal enclosure which was a lovely touch. The animals were very vocal when approached, and although our toddler was a bit wary at first, he quickly warmed up and insisted on saying “bonjour” to the goats every morning.
The location was great for Disneyland, about a flat, 30-minute walk to Disney Village. Alternatively, there’s the free shuttle bus that runs roughly every 15 minutes and serves several nearby hotels. In the mornings, our hotel was the last to be picked up, so seats were hard to come by, but the return journey was easier as we were the first to be dropped off.
Overall, we had a really enjoyable stay and felt we got good value for money compared to alternatives in the area. It’s a great option for families visiting Disneyland who want a comfortable, affordable base without compromising on cleanliness or friendliness. We’d happily stay again but would definitely give the shuttle a miss!"
