Vigilia Park

"Stayed October 2025 as a family of 2 adults and 2 children after booking a very cheap last minute deal. We arrived late at night and we were greeted by a very nice man in the reception area who checked us into apartment 142 on the fourth floor. You can either take the stairs or one of the lifts to reach the upper floors to the apartments. The 2 bedroom apartment we walked into, although basic was very spacious and spotlessly clean. It was equipped with a kitchenette with a hob, microwave, fridge freezer, toaster, kettle, and something else that we didn't use. Possibly a coffee maker. Perfectly adequate for preparing a few basic meals. It is true that it can get very warm in the apartments as others have mentioned so we had the ceiling fans turned on a fair amount of the time as there is no A/C. Lovely weather by the way. 25-27c during the day and 20-22c at night. Probably typical of the time of year. A bit of warm rain one night. There was a fan in each bedroom and one in the living area. The beds themselves were pretty comfortable and the sofa in the living area was quite comfortable too. The TV in the lounge managed to pick up a few English language channels. ITV1, channel 4, channel 5, Sky News. There are possibly more but they were the ones that we happened to notice. The shower in the bathroom is good and had plenty hot water. The hotel states in the welcome letter that a strict no party/noise rule is in force which we appreciated. The hotel was not overly busy anyway so we did not encounter any external noise issues. We did not make use of every facility that the hotel has to offer. For example there is a sauna, gym and an eating establishment so I could not comment on that so I will only comment on what we did use. On the rooftop area there is 2 swimming pools. One is a small pool for young children, then a jacuzzi pool, a ping pong table and a 9 hole mini golf course free to use for all guests but a small refundable deposit is required to play ping pong and mini golf ranging from 5-10 euros. The views from the rooftop area are absolutely beautiful. The Los Gigantes area itself is beautiful and scenic, very hilly with plenty shops and restaurants. The Lidl supermarket is a very short walk up the hill from the hotel. At the hotel's ground level there is a pool table. (2 euros per game). We only used it once because there is not enough space for the table. Sometimes you're having to raise the butt of your cue quite high to take a shot. Then there is another swimming pool next to the reception. My wife cut her toe in this pool and we then noticed that there were several small fragments of broken glass in a section of the shallow area around the edge of the pool but I'm sure the staff would have dealt with it accordingly as we did show them several examples. If you need to get a last minute souvenir while you are there, there is a good choice of shops located within the complex. I would recommend hiring a car especially if your plans involve reaching out of the way spots like mount Teide, monkey park, karting club Tenerife etc. If driving is not an option then the bus service which is apparently very good will still take you to all of the main tourist towns in Tenerife. There are plenty of car rental agencies in the area. I recommend Cicar. A five minute walk down the hill. Overall, considering what we paid it was very good value for money and we all had a nice holiday. Thank you to all of the staff at Vigilia Park!"

"We arrived late in the afternoon With a warm welcome 🤗 Given key room and directions , The room was huge with a fantastic sea view ❤️very clean and tidy . The only gripe was ,bed was only changed the once (7 days )and theres no air con ! There’s a ceiling fan which doesn’t do much Best to leave fan on and close curtains and blind when out and about and the door a gar The complex is very safe and locked up at night .the only way in is if you have a key .which gave me peace of mind. The pool on the 4th floor is small but clean ,there’s a bar that opens 11am daily .lots of sunbeds available Didn’t go to the bottom pool,so can’t comment The resort is very hilly ,we did get a taxi a few times on the way back to hotel ..only 4 euros Some beautiful walks to do along the sea front Bars and restaurants spaced out ,took us a day or 2 to find them tho We had a great time and would definitely return"

"Spotlessly clean apartment. Very spacious and a great shower! These are in the small town so expect some town noise. The pool areas and terrace are so clean. There is a ground floor pool which has a ledge around the edge that os shallow but no guard to stop you going in the 1.65 m depth of the rest of it. The upstairs pool does have a separate children's pool. The upstairs normal one is 1.75m depth. We were on the 2nd floor and our balcony overlo8the street with a sideways voew of Los Gigantes. All staff are polite and happy. We had breakfast once and found it poor value for money. The pool opens 11am to 7pm in the summer, 10am to 6pm winter. I do think it could open earlier. I would definitely return here although the town itself is small but short walks (hilly as it os Tenerife!) bring you to Los Gigantes village or Playa La Arena."
