"Just came back from this hotel just over a week ago after a third visit for some of us and second visit for another.
The short version of this review is just to say that this is a fantastic hotel that For us this has everything you would need, but going into detail about just why we feel that way…
Rooms
Functional, cleaned daily, towels changed frequently, decent bathroom, nice sized balcony, comfortable beds. Fridge in room. We especially like in this hotel that you have a drinking container in your room and a cold water machine on each floor so that you can have easy access to fresh drinking water any time of the day or night, just a few steps from the door to your room. We all felt very comfortable in these rooms.
Food
Plenty of choice. Breakfast and lunch the choices don't vary much, but there's so much selection that I'm sure most people would find something to their taste. Evening meal is a special themed night each night (e.g oriental night, mexican night, Spanish night etc) obviously featuring completely different choices each night, but also keeping around things like pizza, pasta and fries for fussy eaters who may not want to try new things.
Good selection of desserts and ice cream at lunch and evening meal, with a chocolate fountain included most nights.
Every member of staff encountered in the dining room were all friendly and couldn't do enough to help you at any time.
Facilities
1 Large pool, also one smaller pool with steps and hand rails, Ideal for those who want a dip but are less able to use the big pool (but can also be used by anyone) and also a small kids pool.
On the subject of sunbeds, plenty available, never seen a time where there were absolutely no sunbeds available for use, but if you favour a particular area getting one earlier rather than later is advised
Nice stage area with seating for relaxing in the day and then watching the entertainment at night.
There is a pool bar outside, and also a inner bar area just across from the dining room, and another bar/seating area on the 3rd floor across from reception that also has live music in the evening if you prefer that to the downstairs entertainment area. We'd never been somewhere that offers 2 separate night time options for entertainment so it was nice to have that choice.
Again with bar staff, all were friendly and helpful, and whilst there were sometimes queues at the main outside pool bar (often during the nighttime entertainment period) there were enough staff that you were never left waiting too long for the queues to go down.
There's also a gym inside the hotel and a smaller gym area outdoors for those who would be interested in such a thing, although we didn't use these personally to be able to comment on them.
And saving the very best of his hotel until last…
The Entertainment team and activities/Entertainment
There are so many activities during the day that we rarely had time to be bored. Activities regularly on offer include archery, boules, water polo/water volley, ping pong, pool, darts, water carpet in the pool on certain days, and probably more that we've forgot to mention.
Nighttime entertainment at the main outdoor stage area is a mix of live music from acts, or shows put on by the entertainment team themselves, and whilst it's down to individual tastes, we found most shows enjoyable, although as mentioned there's also a secondary entertainment option in an indoor bar to choose from.
As for the entertainment team themselves, what can we say, this entertainment team is amazing. Everyone of them is fun to be around and they all work so hard whilst still making you feel like they are enjoying their time with you. They encourage everyone to feel welcome to join in with games, but you never feel forced. It's also worth mentioning that our son( who helped write this review) is neuro divergent and not always great with new people and even he had no problem getting to know and having fun with the staff, because they are all so easy to get to know and want to be around.
In particular we had the best laughs and fun with Vasili, Alex and Carlos, but also Alba was great at the fitness activities and made things like aqua aerobics feel like fun rather than just exercise ( Saul was also great in this dept(especially hilarious in his spice girl outfit 😂)) There's honestly not a bad member of the entertainment team though. They are a credit to the hotel and the strongest reason that we return to this hotel.
Summing up, this is simply one of the best hotels we've ever been to, and we definitely intend to come here again."
