"Our stay at this hotel was absolutely amazing and it fully exceeded expectations!
First when we arrived, we got told we have been room upgraded for 2 days, so we got the best room in the hotel free of charge with our own rooftop terrace and jacuzzi pool - which was 10/10! Not sure if it was a nod to being here for my 30th or if it was totally random, but either way, receptionist Joel sorted us out and was an absolute star (as was the manager but so sorry we didn’t catch her name 🙁🙁). Joel and her were always so friendly, welcoming and made this stay even more special so big thankyou to Joel & all the wonderful reception staff ⭐️ 🩷 Couldn’t believe our luck!! Even more so when on my actual birthday in the morning someone popped a hand written card under the door, and then we had a bottle of champagne waiting for us when we got back to our room in the evening!! Such nice touches that meant the world and was a total surprise!
After 2 days we moved into our normal room (high floor with sea view) which was also fab. The rooms are not only gorgeous and well equipped (big mirror, portable mirror, TV with Netflix/Youtube, kettle, hairdryer, etc) but also immaculately clean (and my partners quite the germaphobe) so that was nice and the cleaners are so lovely too! 100% recommend upgrading your room to high floor sea view though as this did make a big difference - you get to watch the evening entertainment from these rooms also which was a nice touch, nice and quiet in the evenings past 10.
Other hotel positives:
* Our board was bed and breakfast, lovely selection each day, didn’t get bored once. Special mention to Josy who made the fried eggs, she was so friendly and helpful! We paid to eat at the hotel for dinner one night which was also excellent and for €25 it was 100% worth it, again fab selection. The eating area is also so clean and well maintained and people always there to help and fast to clear/serve.
* Pool area very clean, always able to get a bed and there’s more stacked if you need one/arrive mid-day. (Does have the typical bed reserving with towels but was still no issue)
* The area was perfect for what we like! We’re a quiet couple who don’t drink often (just 1 or 2 on the balcony and a sangria with dinner), and the area doesn’t have many bars FYI, if that’s the vibe you’re after I’d say go for a different area of Mallorca. But a good selection of restaurants near by ranging from 5-10 min walk or 25/30mins into the port. And the walk is flat, not hilly. There is a smashed burger place next door to the right called Dughi’s - we ate here 4 times, it was just that good. If you go, add bacon jam for the love of god. Will never get over the quality of food from here!
* The rooftop/sunset bar is way nicer than we were expecting, really chill vibes. Don’t need to dress up fancy each evening either as was quite a relaxed and casual place which was great comfortability wise after a long beach day.
* Es Trenc beach is a must, lots of lovely beaches scattered around on the way too
* We did the Magic Catamaran excursion one morning which was brilliant. Pick up is 3 minute stroll down the sea - tip: arrive half an hour early to get a good seat. Nice and chill vibes, amazing views and 2 snorkelling stops with a BBQ on board
* We also went to the neighbouring Grand Leon hotel for a spa day - more than well worth €45, unreal experience and got free champagne and sweets.
We had a perfect holiday here. Thank-you for an unforgettable stay!"
