"I stayed at this hotel in April 2026 for a short Easter holiday with my family. I booked and travelled with Jet2Holidays.
Location
Next to the sea with great views over the rocky cliffs of the Mediterranean. An 8-minute walk into town to local shops, bars, and restaurants. The tourist “ting-ting” bus stops right outside the hotel.
Resort
Four or five buildings of apartments all close to the pool. Nice layout, only downside is no lifts and we were on the third floor.
We had to carry bags up the stairs which could be a problem if you have disabilities or are elderly.
Facilities
Two swimming pools with a poolside bar. There is a kids’ club and activities which I didn’t use.
Between-meal snacks were being served in the main restaurant during my stay, as the dedicated snack bar was closed. There was a very limited range of bread, cheese, and breakfast leftovers, with food lukewarm at best. I would say the range of snacks were poor compared to other hotels I have been to.
One large inside bar which used a token system for cups. You buy a token when you get there and swap it for a cup. This is a massive inconvenience as at the end of the night you have to queue to get your token back.
The glasses used were plastic and appeared to be dirty. I think this might have been as they had been through the dishwasher so many times. My glass looked like it had someone else’s lipstick on it.
Food
Food was generally poor quality with the exception of a roast turkey which was very good. Not a massive choice, lukewarm and very similar every night.
Dishes were mostly flavourless unidentifiable meat in sauce but as nothing was labelled I had no idea what I was eating most of the time.
The labels that were on the food didn’t change all week so the label “Monkfish” was on the sausages one day and on what I think was lasagne another. “Turkey in sauce” was another label that was displayed all week on a lamb dish and something else which I could identify (but it wasn’t turkey).
I saw kids scooping up food from the buffet with their hands on two occasions and one sticking his head in the ice cream cooler (no I didn’t eat any after that).
Our whole family had sickness and diarrhoea on this trip. I can’t say it was the restaurant that caused it, but the food was so bad we stopped eating at the restaurant halfway through the trip.
Restaurant Times
When you check in, you have to pick what sitting you will have for food, ie early or late. You can’t mix and match, so if you choose late dinner (as we did), you have to have late breakfast and dinner as well. The queue for late dinner was long, and some dishes (eg the jamón) were all gone and never replaced.
Drink
Soft drinks were ok, beer was San Miguel which was also good. The spirits were nasty brands that I had never heard of and tasted very poor. The rum and gin were particularly offensive with a nasty aftertaste.
The wine was also terrible, especially the red which had no smell at all and was awful. (scores 2.9 on Vivino app). The white and the rose were slightly better but still very poor (3.2 on Vivino ).
The cocktails were nasty and out of a machine and were undrinkable. The margarita was particularly bad looking, a luminous yellow, and plonked in a badly cleaned plastic cup.
Rooms
Large, comfy, and spacious as well as being cool. The AC wasn’t on, but it wasn’t needed as the rooms were nice and cool.
The room was not cleaned for the four days I stayed and we had to ask multiple times for new towels. The cleaners could be heard shouting at each other all day outside, and it all seemed very disorganised.
I stayed here for four days, and on two days, the water in the shower was freezing cold, forcing me to adopt the Vim Hoff method of breathing to brave my morning ice shower.
Staff
Friendly and helpful, can’t really fault them in any way. The cleaners were friendly, but disorganised.
Summary
Nice location, good rooms, fair range of services.
Terrible food and drink, questionable hygiene, and room service.
Better available for the money."
