A calm Lanzarote escape
Set in Matagorda, Nautilus Lanzarote puts you close to the beach and the island’s laid-back coastal rhythm. Matagorda’s seafront promenade is nearby for walks, bike rides and sea-view coffees, while Puerto del Carmen is just along the coast for livelier evenings, shops and restaurants. Lanzarote’s volcanic landscapes, wineries and Timanfaya National Park are all well worth adding to the holiday plan, too.
Back at the resort, the feel is peaceful, spacious and easy to settle into. The low-rise layout gives it a relaxed village-style feel, with outdoor pools, sun terraces and gardens made for slow afternoons. It’s a particularly practical choice if you like a quieter base with self-catering-style freedom and plenty of room to drift between pool, beach and balcony-time.
Food-wise, you’re well placed for flexibility. There are local cafés, bars and restaurants around Matagorda, covering everything from breakfasts and tapas to seafood and international favourites. Puerto del Carmen adds even more choice nearby. Simple, sunny and nicely chilled, this is Lanzarote without the volume turned up too high.
