"Arriving at the hotel, initial perception was good, reception looked nice, check in was quick. And then ....
We went to our rooms ... we had 3 rooms - D102 D103 and D104.
D104 was ok, balcony went out to the player park which delighted the small one. Room was extremely dated, and not very clean, not much of an issue though as I was just going to clean it myself.. superficially it was ok at best.
Room 2 - when we walked in we were greated by Charlie, the cockroach who crawled out from a hole in the bathroom wall, this room was definitely dirtier and damp smell present. Balcony was unclean and sticky. Further bugs found in this room. Bed sheets were dirty, stained with some description of white substance.
Room 3 - again unclean, the smell of damp was over powering on walking into this room!! Balcony as the last room. Cockroach in the bedroom. Couch very dirty. Fridge had flys.
So despite the dirty, the bugs and the general shittyness of the rooms. We choose to try to make the most of it. Asked reception about the cockroaches, they offered to spray the rooms. Asked about changing the sheets and was told cleaners don't work after 4, only for general areas ... even asked if I could just get the sheets to do it myself and was laughed at!!
Other than that, we asked for a move of rooms as we had heard the rooms above the ground floor were better...at this time they became quite rude and dismissive.
Anyway we kept trying to make light of the dirt and bugs so decided to go for a drink, bar area dirty...more cockroaches seen (entertainment team were at the table next to us and even they lifted their feet and flinched!!)
Onto the dining room, and yup as stated on lots of posts there is plenty of choices ... if you want undercooked chicken, or semi hot chips. The rest didn't look appetising. Thankfully there is a microwave which the little one managed to get got chips from ... it was getting late by this point, the boys decided to venture out for food as they just couldn't eat any of it ... and trust me they are the most unfussy people when it comes to their grub ... even they couldn't eat it!!
Overall
Rooms - dirty, bug ridden and dated.
Pool area - cleaner plenty sun loungers
Restaurant - dirty, chairs r minging, food semi hot and semi cooked (breakfast was better than tea ... didn't even try their lunch)
Location - 10-15 min walk to the main square
Staff - initially fine until u raise a concern...they snidey and unhelpful.
I won't be back, I fact I ended up moving hotels to a self-catering catering hotel as anything would of been better than having to endure that for 5 nights. Definitely put a dampener on the start of the holiday, my youngest got sick on day 2 and that was the straw that broke the camels back for a move."
