Buendia Corralejo Nohotel

"We have stayed in Corralejo a few times but this was our first stay here. I emailed the hotel prior to our visit and asked for two rooms near each other. We arrived and were checked in my a friendly man on reception. He advised that he had arranged next to each other which was great. We had street entrance apartments with a pool view. Apartments were spotlessly clean and modern. The stairs are quite steep. Both Apartments had two bedrooms. One double and one with bunk beds. We found the fan in our bedroom kept the room lovely and cool but my son and daughter in law's didn't seem as effective. The pool area is gorgeous and the lifeguard makes sure people don't reserve beds and disappear which is fantastic. Pool was cool but fine when got used to it (you may want to get a swim top for children as we ended up buying one to keep our 6 year old grandson a bit warmer in the pool). We ate lunch there a few times and the food was really good. Especially loved the vegetarian burger and tuna toast. The hotel is in a quieter,less touristy area but only 10 minutes to Music Square. There are restaurants even closer if you don't want to venture far. Supermarket is 7 minutes walk. I wish we had paid 35 euros for the room to be cleaned and fresh towels. We knew about the charge so not complaining. In summary, a fabulous place and have already recommended to others."

"We traveled as a family of four with 2 grown up children for our 2nd visit at Buendía. This place is absolutely perfect for a relaxing break. Has a super chilled vibe & the location is great. Being in the midst of the north of the town in a residential area, you get a real Spanish feel of your surroundings. Only a 5 minute walk to the vibrant old town, the hotel is comfortable, modern and the apartments are really nice, equipped with everything you need to self cater. The food and drinks selection at Waves restaurant are also really good and reasonably priced. All the staff are welcoming and very pleasant. No complaints at all and will definitely return for a 3rd time sometime soon! Gracias Buendía 😊"

"This accommodation is great but the no cleaning of the room is terrible- 7 days with no cleaning, no bins being emptied etc is very unhygienic. We had the same towels all week. Yes, i know you can pay extra for a towel change and 35 euros per room clean but the holiday already cost me 1100. I go on holiday to relax, not to empty bins. Its such a shame as the 2 bedroom roof top terrace was lovely and spacious. The pool was good, the pool bar was great. Location is brilliant but I wouldn't go back ref the cleaning aspect. Yes. I know they have won awards but it isn't acceptable to me to use the same towels every day for a week. I dont expect an deep clean every day but not to come in at all is just crazy."
