"2nd visit here & have literally just booked another for a few weeks time!
Stayed last October with my daughter & her partner, went back from 15.04.26 to 25.04.26 with my son & his partner & will be back solo in July!
Not a huge resort & not in the centre of the town by any means - but the beach + town are literally a 15-20min stroll away, (or around 5euro for a cab), which can be done along the beach which offers a number of bars along the way! If you have a package transfer, it can take a while from the airport depending on the driver's route & you do get dropped at the top of the road as the coach can't fit down the actual street the hotel is in. I've not found that an issue on either previous stay.
What make this hotel special is the STAFF. Without question, every single staff member will bend over backwards to make your holiday a good one. I really have no idea how they stay "so happy" day after day after day!!!! From the reception staff, to the maintenance guys, the housekeeping team, the lifeguards, all important bar & restaurant staff, my newly found friend who runs the shop there & our dear Stefano on Ents! Fabulous atmosphere 24/7.
The rooms are fairly spacious & kept immaculately clean (thank you Laura.) All linen & towels in good condition (I stayed elsewhere on the island over Xmas & their linen was full of holes!) 1st visit I was upper floor & had a balcony, which although a tad small - was absolutely fine. This last visit was ground floor & had a terrace, which suited better to be honest! Beds are very comfortable, including the pull-out sofa bed (which I used on my 1st visit!) Had much better sleep there than I do at home!! (Might have something to do with the spirit measures at the bar of course!)
The food is above average for an all inclusive & there was never an occasion where there was "nothing suitable" to eat. Everything in the restaurant is clearly labelled & piping hot (unless you choose the salad bar of course!) + the pool bar serving snacks throughout the day.
The pool areas are kept very clean, plenty of sunbeds if you want them - although you do get the "usual" towel-baggers out fairly early in the morning (usually sadly British I will add!), when there really is no need + there are plenty of tables to sit at.
"Entertainment" starts at about 10:30-11am with various little games around the pool, breaks for lunch & resumes with a "pool activity" around 2:30-ish & then starts again in the evenings with the kiddies stuff around 8-8:30, with the "main events" starting at 9:30 for around an hour, all usual, usual really. Suited us on this last trip to stay on site, but there are a few local bars around a 5-min walk away or you can head into town. (Recommend the Music Square in town.)
Lots of very "same-y-shops" on the main strip, & they all want your custom - so do barter! It works. Can recommend popping into "Inside" clothing store at the far end of the strip, (only trade in Spain) - some really good bargains to be had there! Usually works out cheaper to book any trips via the travel stores on the strip than it does thro' your holiday company which can be done online & most will pick up & drop off from your hotel which is useful!
1st time here solo in July but I am confident that won't be an issue..... & I've NEVER returned to the same resort for a 3rd time, so I think that says something!
Look forward to seeing you again soon Arena Beach! 😎😎😎
Thank you all for a fab break away.
