"Great location for if you want the beach daily, 2 minute walk to the beach. Hotel is extreamly crowded and compact. 1 pool for 400 rooms roughly so getting a sunbed is a battle. Pool " opens at 9am" yet people are usually queing to put towels out at 7:30am! Due to this staff open the pool as soon at the que gets to big so if you "follow the rules" you will not get a sunbed at all. There is a policy that says if a sunbed is unattended for 30 mins that staff will remove the towels but that does not happen at all. Atmosphere of the hotel is loud with everything being so close together the restraunt is loud and lawless with most staff stood around not doing anything, at breakfast you are left to fend for yourself to find a table and the same at dinner. I had one staff member on one night actually put his hands on my shoulders to move me out the way so he could get past me to talk to another staff member which I thought was a joke, another staff member walked into a chair at our table - didn't awknowledge it and just walked on . Breakfast is OK/ edible, dinner is not worth it the restraunt is messy loud and again the staff are just rude and unpleasent. Plenty of local places serving reasonably priced food local to the hotel. The rooms are dated. Our aircon was not working when we arrived and had to bang the dial for it to come on, also the aircon does decide to turn itself off sometimes (no timer dial or anything just with a mind of its own) not the best of features when it is 34 degrees at 11pm. Our bathroom door would get stuck if closed completely to the point you nearly had to pull it off the hinges to open it, the shower does not have any temperature control on it even if you turn it to cold water hot water comes out and sometimes becomes scolding water. There was also mold on the wall in our room. Tea and coffee in the rooms is there but if you run out you can pay 12 euro for 20 sachets of your choice to restock. Rooms are "cleaned" whenever they feel like it, they also will not remove rubish from your room unless it is in the tiny bin in the bathroom, we left a bag full of rubish on the desk in our room and it was still there the day we checked out.We have been here for 5 days and our sheets have been changed once, they might also mop your floors and leave your fridge open for you if your lucky, the walls are thin if your neighbour has the TV on you will hear every word that comes out from it. Overall cleanlines of the hotel is poor crumbs everywhere, cocroaches in the hotel and just not good enough. The drinks at the bar are nice which is really important if you have to deal with how bad this hotel actually is it really takes the sting away. If you do for some reason decide to stay here bring mosquito repellants i have been eaten alive here and no where local sells anything so i have to accept my fate, i would ask reception staff about where to find some but not one has even said hello, good morning or anything to us since we checked in. There is one positive in this hotel and that is outside of it there is plenty of access to local towns such as cambrils ( lovely with plenty of restraunts, beaches and a marina) or salou (bit more energetic and good for the youth). There is no information in your hotel room at all so its a quick google search to find out check out times. At reception when you do check out it is alsoa very rushed experience, "did you have a good time?" "We hope you would choose us again!", none of that just thanks for your keys goodbye. Overall this is an extreemly disapointing hotel and i would not recomend to anyone unless you enjoy waking up at 4am to get a sunbed, being ignored by hotel staff even when you walk past and say Hola, eating warm food that isnt even that nice or getting destroyed by mosquitos. Horrific. Don't know how this is still a 4 star."
