"Great hotel right next to old town, and quiet. Walking distance to the beach. Good room. You can make your own coffee or have a breakfast on the premises. Friendly and helpful staff. Also inexpensive compared to most places in the area. Most hotels we stayed at in this class, used two twin beds pushed together but made up separately. Bathroom fans are middling or non existent. This is the same but not a major issue."

"We booked this hotel as part of a Jet2 City Break. It is in an excellent location for exploring Malaga. It’s a short walk to the Old Town, Cathedral and Botanical Gardens and about thirty minutes walk to the beach. We got the train from the airport to Malaga, costing €5.60 for two people, and it is a two minute walk to the hotel. The rooms had comfortable beds, a good bathroom with plenty of hot water and towels and was nice and clean. The reception staff are available 24 hours a day and are very helpful. I had to ring down at 3am one morning as the person in the next room was being unreasonably loud and the staff addressed it straight away. You do hear some noise within the hotel from bedroom doors and neighbouring rooms but overall it was a good base for exploring Malaga. Take your own toiletries as there is only a wall dispenser of shower wash provided."

"Where to start... I thought I was at a different hotel after having read some of the reviews on here. The positives were: Lovely staff, excellent WiFi and great (if noisy) Aircon. My bed was very comfy, firm mattress, which I like. Nice soft pillows too. Negatives: My room was very dusty but that was sorted the next day. Bathroom was ok but there was one generic soap container on the wall - wouldn't use it to wash my hair. The road outside is really busy and my windows certainly didn't keep the noise out. Plus the road at the bottom is extremely busy too and that's the one emergency services seem to use, so lots of sirens heard (I was on the 6th floor). My room was opposite the lifts so had people noise too. There's coffee and tea in the room but no milk. I could hear my neighbours both sides - there isn't any soundproofing. Breakfast wasn't 4*. I ate out a couple of times because of how mediocre it was. The coffee wasn't good either. It all seemed 'cheap'. There's no bar in the hotel. The hotel is in a good position for travelling elsewhere. The train and bus station was about a 7 minute walk away. Also across the bridge takes you to central Málaga (where there are some much better hotels in the pedestrian area). All in all it's more like a 3* hotel than 4. I've stayed in many great 4* in Spain and this sadly wasn't up to their standard. So look around if you like a bit of luxury but if you are happy with a no frills functional hotel then this one is for you."
