"To be fair, we have not traveled to Europe in a while.
When we arrived, there was no power in the room and no AC, even though it was 36C. We had hoped for a cool place to rest in, and we quickly learned that we needed to leave the key in the slot to power the room and to have the AC running, not great after a 9-hour flight to get to the hotel.
Given the weather, we needed to shower twice a day, and we had to ask for two more towels to dry off. At one point, a gentleman at the front desk said Why do you need two towels.
We asked about the rooms not having robes, and rather than explaining why, we were told You want a robe? You can purchase one found that strange. The elevators were small and very slow, which led to longer wait times to get from the lobby to our room than at other hotels during this trip.
And lastly, the shower. As I noted above, we have not traveled to Europe in at least 10 years. We could not figure out how to operate the shower. Call us dumb Americans if you would like; however, not even an instruction set we had to ask the person cleaning rooms how to make it work. Not the greatest experience when you just got off the airplane and wanted to freshen up.
The location near the beach was great if you spent time there each day. Many young people at the hotel, some of whom would hang around the only entrance to the hotel, smoking various things, making the entry and exit not pleasant if you are a non-smoker. Ample access to taxis and Uber or Cabify ( which was new to us). Overall not bad the bath room had signs of wear and not great repairs I bring this up as it did not connect with the cost of this location which we consider luxury hotel but missed the mark in several places as noted above. If you want walking distance to the beach dont care about the items I have mentioned, then this is your place. If you do stay and you have not traveled to Europe, make sure someone gives you a quick lesson on how the room works."
