"This is our 4th Holiday in Egypt we stayed in the Cleopatra Luxury Resory this time for 7 nights when arriving we were welcomed by the staff the reception staff were very kind and welcoming they checked us in then took us to our room the room was lovely and spacious we had a sea view room which was lovely however for the extra £100 we paid for it we expected a much better view so wasn’t really worth it plus we kept having pigeons on our balcony making noise and poo’ing all over our balcony which went on our towels plus ended up stepping in it and bringing it all through the room very annoying but the hotel itself is beautiful lovely scenery and is very well maintained it’s spotless very clean it’s got 3 large swimming pools including the infinity pool but me and my partner stayed at the inflatable pool everyday as it was much quieter and more relaxing as most people went to the other pools I want to say a massive thank you again to John who worked at the bar by the inflatable pool and also worked at the bar by the entertainment in the evening he constantly greeted us everyday and brought us drinks through out the day he looked after us our whole stay very chatty and really nice and down to earth guy, the beach is beautiful as well it’s just behind the infinity pool has a massive pier you can walk on which you can see some amazing views and loads of fish through the clear sea water, the food in the hotel was very average wasn’t the best at all, we skipped breakfast most mornings due to the lack of options they did do omelettes but weren’t cooked properly majority of the time due to the chef rushing as loads of people were queuing for them, mid day lunch we had food at the inflatable pool snack bar which was absolutely lovely by far the best meal we had everyday Chicken wraps and peri chips which was top scran we couldn’t wait to have this everyday would definitely recommend, the Dinner in the evening was average most nights some nights they didn’t even serve fries, mainly had chicken and rice everyday as wasn’t much else to choose from some of the chicken we had was pink and mainly bone so couldn’t eat it, after having dinner we would watch the entertainment until 10:30 which they would then do late dinner which we had every night as we were still hungry that mainly consisted of rice and chicken wasn’t the best, the animation team were non existent and when you did see them they wouldn’t speak a word would just walk straight past which was pretty rude, majority of the staff are friendly and smile and speak to you but alot of them were very miserable as well the lobby bar staff we found pretty rude and staff at the beach grill bar as well, one of the nights we went to the main lobby bar to get some drinks which we were then told we had to pay extra for as they were better brand drinks they would only give us the cheap stuff which was pretty disappointing seeing it’s all inclusive and wasn’t cheap to stay at this hotel, another point which needs to be sorted is the amount of bird poo around the edges of the pool it’s absolutely disgusting the hotel is very clean and spotless everywhere else but around the pool edges is filled with bird poo so you can’t even sit and dangle your feet in the pool or rest your arms on the side due to this the one day I didn’t notice and sat on the edge to get in the pool and got it all over my shorts which was disgusting wasn’t happy at all that’s the only really thing that needs sorting as apart from that the hotel is beautiful we had a lovely 7 nights at this hotel majority of the staff are friendly and down to earth it is a very nice hotel but we wouldn’t come back here again."
