"Beautiful hotel with a convenient location and scandanivan style rooms. I booked with AMEX and received an upgrade to a nice canal view room. Room was clean and spacious. On site restaurant was excellent. To note: If using Amex, ask what the credit is in local currency. ( I tried to do the conversion myself and unfortunately underspent the credit). The hotel breakfast was great and included sparkling wine! Housekeeping didn’t come throughout my 3 day stay, which was fine but would have been helpful to know ahead of time. The complimentary minibar would be much improved if the included wine (only beer, water, and soft drinks were available). Overall, highly recommended."

"I booked this hotel via the American Express platform for a conference I was attending at the Bella Center, and was excited about it's quirky appeal, unique location, and the benefits that came with my booking ($100 food/bev credit, free minibar, early check-in/late check-out, and potential for upgrade). Upon arrival, I really really liked this hotel. It felt unique and laid back but still well taken care of and the employees felt very hospitable. I had a gorgeous room on the 7th floor with a view overlooking the Opera. I loved the touches like the stuffed cod on the bed, the fun signage, the bag you could borrow, and the very large shower. I was traveling solo, so it didn't bother me that the shower was right next to the bed, but that might not be ideal for others. I ate at Tiger Lily that night and had the yummiest dinner (you must try the pork belly!), and I enjoyed breakfast there every day. It offered quite the selection. Honestly, I was so close to rating this stay 5 stars. The Thursday night I was there, I heard a little bit of noise but assumed it was outside and fell asleep no issues. Friday, I also heard noise, realized it was coming from the Victory Bar upstairs, but still had minimal issues falling asleep. Saturday I went to bed on the earlier side (10pm) as I was traveling home the next day. When I say I've never heard such noise in a hotel room, I'm truly not lying. I tossed and turned for over an hour before I called downstairs to see if anything could be done. They offered to call up to Victory Bar and said I could be moved. I was in my pajamas and my stuff was not packed so I was hesitant to move. I got back in bed and somehow the bass got louder and I could hear furniture moving right above my head. It was truly ridiculous. By this point, I might add, I had in ear plugs and turned on white noise. I opened TripAdvisor to see if anyone had ever complained about this before, and somehow could not find any evidence of it. At one point, I opened a decibel meter and it was telling me the noise was comparable to a conversation. I angrily began packing all my things and called back down to the front desk who said he needed 5 minutes to look into it. When he called back, the loudness of the ring on my phone made me jump out of my skin. He offered to bring me the keys for the new room ("it's really nice and has a view"). I said I didn't care anything about the room other than it being quiet. So I moved down about 11:45pm and hoped I hadn't missed anything in my rush packing job. The new room was indeed nice--and most importantly quiet. They apologized in the morning when I checked out and offered to waive my total balance--all of about $13 USD. It was a terrible way to end my stay there and I would advise against staying on the 7th floor of this hotel if you'd like to get any kind of good sleep (especially on a weekend)."

"My partner and I were heading to Copenhagen for a concert as a suprise for my partner. A friend of mine reccomended this hotel and if I am honest I didn't research the hotel before travelling as I trusted his reccomendation. I knew it was a modern, lifestyle hotel rather than a formal hotel bit was really really impressed. There are a couple of different entrances to the hotel with both them then entering into a social space ....one next to restaurant and one next to a coffee shop...... I love this if you enter to a hotel and the desk is directly in front of you it acts as a formal barrier. The decor is great....nods to the history of the area and a 'fishing' / 'water' theme throughout. The decor is soft, scandi and welcoming. Not clinical or formal. Right next to reception is a 'open' shop which is a great addition that pulls people over to look at the items to purchase. Lots of artifacts and themed items scattered arihmd the public areas. Oposite the reception is a lounge next to a lovely subtle fireplace. This area was being used as a work place for locals. The coffee shop area had loads of interesting thought provoking items around. The coffee was great too. The lady that serve us coffee (anouska i think her name was) was amazing ...friendly, happy and engaging. Reception team were great too and the lady that checked us in spoke about the hotel with passion and pride telling us it was a year old and has had an amazing year. We got to the room and we loved it. Large bed, bay windows overlooking the canal blue tooth speak, open plan vanity area, huge shower head and good storage. A recycled bag to use out and about too. Only comment was the toilet is tiny. Went to the bar on level 8 .... great views over the canals and city with an incredibke margarita....very cool bar for the cool-set. We didn't try the restaurant hower it looked great Japanese inspired. I loved they had a charity of the month too which I found really important. Also they proudly showed their green award promoting sustainability. The best part was the staff ..... really engaging happy and proud to be part of this great hotel."
