"1st time staying at NissiBlu & will definitely return.
We went for one week from June 1st - June 8th All Inclusive + and everything we ate, drank, used was within the AI+ option.
We stayed in a Seaview Room, on 2nd floor Room 222.
Hotel itself is beautiful. Food lovely.
Upstairs buffet area was huge with plenty of seating & plenty of choice both food & drink. Spectacular views from there when sitting outside. The young ladies who were on front of desk for this eating area were always very professional, friendly, and very well presented.
Theros Dining are downstairs was also a good size and the food there was also lovely and portions are quite large.
La Brasserie (near pool) food and drink was also lovely.
We had drinks by pool bar but never had food from that area. There are QR codes available so you can order food and drink from Pool Bar but we never used it. Even if you grabbed a waiter they were brining the guests to the sunbeds.
Had drink and desserts from upstairs Lounge Bar, both were gorgeous.
Outdoor pool was lovely and bugger than we thought.
Indoor pool was lovely, especially when it got too hot outside.
You are given a towel card per person and there is a special small area before pool where you can get them changed daily and youre allowed to take to nearby Nissi Bay beach.
There are 2 foot showers at either back entrance with an area of 4 or 5 showers near pool bar area. There were 2 young ladies who alternate working on the towel stand and were always really friendly despite it possibly being a very long for them simply to take dirty towels and hand clean ones out.
Lifeguards also really friendly. One spotted some drinking glasses had been left by pool and instantly got them removed.
Plenty of sunbeds round pool area as well as some seating areas too.
We didnt use the spa/steam room etc.
Room 222 was a Superior Seaview Room. Bed was a queen size bed i believe, very comfy. Was cleaned every day and all the cleaning staff were really friendly. Only issue, as weve had with nearly every hotel we have stayed in is the position of Shower head/shower glass doesnt match properly so we had to lay a towel on floor to stop floor flooding and us slipping.
Large flat screen in room with hotel info on, also BBC, ITV and other channels. Room service was available. Mini bar had water, soft drinks, lager, crisps and nuts and was replenished daily.
We had emailed before we even left the UK to ask for Late Room checkout which was €90 as we had a 9.50 pm flight home so the late checkout of 6pm was literally ideal and very much worth it.
View from even laying in bed was gorgeous. Good wardrobe space, mini safe very easy to use, hair dryer was quite soft but did the job. Plenty of sockets and good air con.
Not sure if its every floor but on 2nd floor there is a small room specifically for you to iron clothes. It had 2 ironing boards, 2 irons and 1 steam iron contraption. Was so handy having that available to use.
Front desk ordered taxis for us when asked. Very helpful staff on there and same with all gentleman who see to luggage etc.
Decor in hotel is absolutely lovely and it had a lovely calm and relaxing atmosphere to it without feeling snobbish. Not really aimed at families with small children but that suited us as we travelled first time without any of our own children, but they have a small pool and children's play club.
Plenty of toilets throught out hotel and every one we went to were spotless!
Every member of staff was attentive & friendly and there was plenty of staff in all areas of hotel. Another review slated the staff for "regularly lounging around". Only thing we saw was the stagg doing their jobs and doing it well.
In every area of the hotel they did their walkarounds to check if we needed plates/glasses removed etc but did it in non-hovering/hurry up and move way.
We normally stay at Atlantica Aeneas but that is more family orientated so we decided to have a change this year and we are so pleased we did.
All Inclusive + is most definitely worth the extra money as we literally were spoilt for choice by going AI+ when we booked.
And finally Nissi Beach was as beautiful as ever. Its a stunning beach and the sea is just perfect! Hotel was literally a 2 min walk to Nissi Beach.
Hotel was quiter than usual but thats obviously because of people panic-cancelling due to conflict/supposed fuel shortage. So hopefully tourism picks up for Cyprus in general as it is just a beautiful country to visit.
We will definitely be re-booking for next year!!"
