Modern ,well fitted out hotel
"The only draw back is that I would suggest that it is positioned just a little far from City Centre in an "up and coming area!"-bearing in mind everywhere seems to be uphill in Lisbon.Neverthe less we would definitely return-if you don't fancy the stiff walk back up from the city ctre/riverfront at night then the brilliant Metro system has a stop less than 100yds away and of course there is always Uber. The hotel is modern rooms are of good size,beds/bathrooms etc of good quality and although we were staying during the recent"black out" across Spain/Portugal the hotel had a fine back up system with plenty of lighting and power. We were there on B&B basis-breakfast is to die for -absolutely everything you could possibly ask for. All staff were helpful but special mentions go to Jessica on reception who could not have been more helpful ,and the quiet young man on evening bar duty who's name I forgot to ask.He was very efficient especially on the night of the power cut when he was worked off his feet producing food as well as drinks. The hotel should have given him some help and maybe kept the bar open after 10 pm!."
Very good hotel for a city trip
"We had a wonderful five nights stay in this hotel. In my opinion it is perfect located for a city trip because the metro station Anjus is walkable under one minute. The ride into the city center is about five minutes. If you want to walk, it will take approximately twenty minutes. Although you may consider that the neighbourhood might not be the best because it is a multicultural aria. But nothing to worry about. Some restaurants and a supermarket are nearby. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. Communication in English is no problem. We arrived way before the check-in time and we were able to store our luggage till we could check-in. We got a spacious and bright room which was very clean too. Most important to us was a quiet room and we definitely got one. Exept the noise from the street which is even in the highest floor like you're standing down on the street (traffic, sirens and the vibration of the metro). Bring ear plugs! Comfy beds and a big bathtub with a shower but no separate shower or curtains. Our room had a minibar with resonerable prices, which we liked. The housekeeping did an amazing job. One day the came although we thought it would be to late because we stayed the afternoon in our room. They respect the "do not disturb" sign too. Which is appreciated. The breakfast is good and has lots of choice: cereal, toast, bread, fruit, scrambled eggs, eggs with sunny side up, normal eggs, beans, bacon, some yogurt, pastries, coffee, juice and water. It is standart quality, nothing very special. Nonetheless perfect to start a long day in the city with sightseeing. The check out was very pleasant and agian we could store our luggage till we needed it. In conclusion the hotel exceded our expectations and we would book the hotel again, if we come back to Lisbon. Thank you for making our stay relaxed and comfortable."
City break
"Modern hotel close to Anjos Metro around 50mtrs, which links to the airport with one metro change. Friendly reception staff. Able to leave our suitcases until check in at 3pm. Spacious room on 5th floor back of the building, as it's quite away from the busy traffic noises on the front. Room like it had been refurbished but tge bathroom was a little dated, shower in bath. Very clean rooms serviced daily, lively white bed linen. One negative comment, the pillows were a bit lumpy and flat. Sparkling wine and chocolates were left in our room on my birthday a nice touch!! Breakfast was good and plenty, replenished frequently. Hot items of bacon, sausage, hash browns, beans, fried and scrambled eggs etc... Hot drink machine, juices, fruits, cold meats, cheeses, cakes, breads and croissants, and of course pastel denata!! Handy supermarket next door, plenty of small shops and cafes nearby. Would recommend this hotel."
