"Very well positioned hotel for all the important museums in a quiet street and you think this is just the right place to stay. Certainly not for us 'oldies' as climbing up the stairs to both the Main building and opposite to the Annexe is difficult with the poorly positioned railings. This building has no staff. If you expect - after being out during the morning visiting the museums - coming back to the hotel, finding your room and bathroom nicely cleaned, you'll be disappointed. Housekeeping only do afternoon service, as they during the morning they have staff only for rooms for the in-coming guests. The bathroom lighting is rather dark, the black basin somehow looks dirty, even after being cleaned. The Safe was positioned - without being informed at check-in - in the bathroom next to the toilet in a low cabinet...well kept secret even from the guests."

"The location is EXCELLENT! Near to Vondelpark, close to Rijksmusuem, city centre, canals, restaurants, shops, bike rentals, etc, etc, but very quiet and peaceful street. Atmosphere is small and friendly, relaxed and home-from-home. Quiet and peaceful. Rooms were very comfortable, effective aircon, clean, lovely shower. Good value for money given its a central location. Service was great. Reception staff were very welcoming and super-helpful with every request. Amenities: Lovely, quiet and peaceful garden at the back. Attractive lounge area with cute honesty bar. We'll definitely return again and again and again. 😀"

"Overall everything was very good. The room, staff, cleaning, location etc. The only bad thing i could say was the wifi didn't work, that's it. Very good hotel, i hope to stay here again."
