Leonardo Hotel Amsterdam City Center

"Charming hotel in Amsterdam city center, walking distance to Rijks and Van Gogh Museum, just a few steps from public transportation. As hotel is located in residential area, neighborhood is quite, even during rush hour. Who dislike elevators, might use steep stairs, making you feel like living in traditional Dutch house back in 17 century - I loved it :) The whole hotel is very clean. Here you can not find spotted glasses or towels. I had lovely room with pitched roof on 3rd floor with amazing view. After long day I was truly grateful for coffee/tea maker in the room - complementary along with bottled water. Restaurant is quite spacious although food serving area is not. Nevertheless breakfast was great - warm and cold dishes and drinks, fruits, cakes, salad, cereals, juices... The last but not the least - amazing staff :) Very friendly, very professional My highest and deepest gratitude goes to LINA from front desk, the brightest star of Leonardo Hotel Amsterdam City Center. Dear Lina - without your help this visit would not be the same - perfect :)"

"I was in the hotel to spend two nights, the first one, I was able to sleep with my night dress but when I arrived on Saturday night, the garment wasn’t anywhere to be found. I went to the reception where they wrote my claim to be checked next morning. On Sunday morning I spoke to the staff in reception and even to the laundry Manager and explained again that the night gown had disappeared, I thought it had been mixed by mistake with laundry so their answer was that they would send it back to me once it would be found but after one month I still know nothing about my nightdress but that someone stole it. Very disappointing the answer of the hotel when they try to say it was my fault for forgetting things in the hotel. I had to remind them I never forgot anything as I claim the missing garment on Saturday night as soon as I realised it wasn’t anywhere to be found and until today I have no answer and nobody is paying it."

"Dirty, noisy and ”unhelpful” staff. I wouldn’t recommend to anyone! Only positive was location, near to restaurants and shops."
