Mirabello Bay Luxury Resort and Villas

"We’ve just returned from a week at Mirabello bay and whilst the hotel is lovely, unfortunately there are a few things that let this hotel down from being 5* The cleanliness around the pool is atrocious, the entire week we were there the pool area was not hosed down, just a combination of stagnant water, dirty footprints and rubbish. The areas around the sun loungers were also not cleaned with empty glasses, straw wrappers and an obscene amount of stray hair. The same can be said for the main restaurant, food and napkins on the floor from previous guests, tables not wiped down properly and fresh cutlery nowhere to be found, The hotel is clearly winding down but that doesn’t mean the amenities should close, half of the a la carte restaurants and bars were closed and the ones that were open seemed to be running on a skeleton crew which resulted in extremely long lines. Due to this nothing seemed to open at the advertised time, the pool bar to get towels consistently opened late everyday and I had to ask reception every morning to open the gym area despite it being advertised as opening at 7. Whilst the hotel advertises itself as child-friendly, it’s extremely hard to navigate with a buggy, if you are unable to lift your buggy up a substantial amount of stairs or up and over a few walls, you are going to struggle a lot. The kids club offering and mini disco are also really poor. Overall the hotel itself is beautiful, the location great and the majority of staff are friendly and hard working however it is the details that makes a hotel 5* and unfortunately Mirabello bay lacks on a lot of these."

"We had an amazing time at the hotel; food was great and the hotel had everything we needed. All staff were friendly and accommodating, even preparing a birthday cake for me on my birthday. I had a Cretan massage at the Aegeo spa by Eleni and it was absolute heaven. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we will be recommending to others!"

"Idyllic and clean hotel set in nice surroundings. Staff are lovely and respectful, the Hotel is clean and plenty of food choice. My son loved it here as did we. We've booked to return next year."
