"Absolutely disgusting. We found a cockroach in our bathroom. This made me mistrust the cleanliness of the establishment. The hotel food is also sub par with limited choices. I will not be back."

"I stayed at this hotel recently for one week. It was mostly a very pleasant stay. The staff are excellent, especially at reception. I was able to book a couple of good excursions via reception ( the day tour to the central part of the island was very memorable), and the hotel kept my luggage in storage on the last day so I could make the most of the day before a late departure. I enjoyed relaxing in the rooftop bar and beside the pool. The public areas in the hotel are lovely but my room was not inviting! ( the window overlooked a depressing atrium with a constant smell of dampness). Taking everything into account, I would recommend this hotel if you are travelling on a budget. Gran Canaria has some stunning scenery and is an interesting island to visit."

"Hotel very clean and central to everything. Room very comfy bed changed a couple of times during our week stay, clean towels every day. My only gripe was the breakfast, although plenty of everything it’s total chaos with people everywhere and only two coffee machines. The bacon was just swimming in fat and the butter tasted like cheese, there was no alternative like flora spread etc, everything you put this butter on spoilt the taste. I buttered toast and put fried egg on and as I started to eat it it tasted off, in the end I lived on a banana and hard boiled egg. If you put the butter on a roll or croissant again it didn’t taste right and tasted of cheese. Such a shame. The staff were lovely and the 5th floor bar was great. We went out for a meal one night and we were given butter for a salmon which tasted like normal butter."
