"While we made some lovely family memories, our recent week-long stay at this hotel with our one-and-a-half-year-old was quite disappointing due to several issues that need to be addressed, especially given that the hotel allows children. We stayed in a lovely sea-view suite, which was a great size. Having a separate living area meant we could still have conversations after our son went to sleep, and it was a nice touch that the hotel had a cot ready for him with a mattress protector and sheet. Unsafe and Unclean Facilities The state of the hotel's facilities, particularly the baby pool area, was a major concern. The water was surprisingly cold, and the children's slide was broken, causing my son to scrape his back. We had to help him use it every time to prevent further injury. The walking areas around the pools were also dangerously slippery. My husband fell twice despite our son wearing anti-slip shoes. Even more troubling, there are stairs right next to the baby pool. For an active toddler, this is a serious hazard and was exhausting for us as parents, who had to constantly chase after him to ensure he didn't fall. The hotel needs to make this area much safer if they are going to market it as family-friendly. Our suite was also not as clean as we expected. On the first day, we found a long brown hair near the bed and pubic hair in the bathtub. The daily cleaning service was a letdown. Our room was never cleaned in the morning, so we had to ask the staff to clean it after our son's nap. This became a daily routine, and on our last night, despite asking, the room was not cleaned at all, leaving us with a full bin and a dirty toilet. We also had to request clean towels, only to find the same ones folded back up. This lack of attention to detail was frustrating. A significant part of the problem seems to be a language barrier, as the cleaning staff didn't speak English, making communication difficult. Considering the number of English and Italian guests, basic English proficiency would be a huge asset. Other Observations We found the food at the hotel restaurant to be tasty but quite expensive, costing us around £350 for lunches and dinners over the week. The full amount for our stay was also requested upfront upon arrival, which was a surprising and unexpected policy. On the positive side, the staff were generally nice, and the noise level at night was low, aside from a wedding next door. The hotel's location is also very convenient, with a supermarket and pharmacy nearby. The small beach nearby was a peaceful spot for an early morning walk. Overall, while the hotel's calm environment was appreciated and we enjoyed spending time together as a family, the issues with the cleanliness of the room and the dangerous state of the baby pool area meant our expectations were not fully met. The hotel has a lot of potential but needs to improve these areas to truly be a great destination for families with young children."

"Overall good vibe and location. Not a party vibe and not a kids oriented either (though children are welcome). No animation and no loud parties, very quiet in the evening/night. Lots of reasonably priced restaurants around, easy access to the town (taxi, bus, boat), can even walk there in 30 mins or so. We loved that the hotel is separated from the main road by a private mini forest, provides good shade and ambience. There are 2 pools - bigger one in the front and a smaller one in the back with a sort of mini sandy beach on the hotel grounds. There's a door to the sea promenade at the back where you can walk to a proper beach to swim in a couple of minutes. Dining: - Breakfast buffet was good. Same every day, but plenty of different food of good quality. - Dinner buffet doesn't worth it. It's 30 eur per person, but you can eat for less in a sitdown restaurant. - The hotel Elysium restaurant was actually good. Reasonable prices, good food, good service. - Hotel bar was reasonably priced as well. Spa: - You get your 1st visit for free if you book direct, subsequent visits are 12.50 eur for hotel guests. - It has a pool, a cold water plunge, sauna, steam room, separate room with hot beds and a couple of power showers. What we didn't like: - The so called cava at check in and in a restaurant is not cava at all. It's a super cheap muscat sparkling wine that tastes horrible. Seriously, a bottle of proper cava costs under 5 EUR in Spain - why cut corners here. - The glass cubicle set up of toilet and shower. You can't see through, but can hear every bit and during the night time you can't turn on the light in the toliet without waking everyone up in the room. - Sink is in the room, not in the bathroom. In fact there's no proper bathroom, just a shower and toliet behind the glass wall. - Room for 3 people has ony 2 chairs. - There is no seating area/lounges in the spa. Not even a place to put your clothes on. No clening attendant in the spa, just a receptionist, so it gets wet everywhere pretty fast."
