Choromar Apartments

"So ,the good things first...the apartment was really big,got everything what I wanted. Aldi is 15 min walk and nearest beach is 30 min walk. User is cheap. If you go on excursions, lots of them are picking and dropping you off back to hotel. That's the good bits. Bad...the hotel is very dated,furniture like from 1950. The pool is freezing. Kids pool is size of jacuzzi. If you want to use jacuzzi or Turkish bath,is 6 euros for an hour but it was broken anyway. The area around hotel is quiet but extremely dirty. Plenty of rubbish/ litter everywhere and absolutely stink of dog 💩. They are everywhere. Couldn't stand the stench. Reception staff are rude,ignored me every time I wanted ask something. I was just standing there and she kept watching something on her phone. So I didn't bother agsin. Cleaners changing g towels every 2 days but again, they wont even say hi or bye to you. If you want uc or television ,you have to pay 20 euro deposit. Iron,20 euros deposit. There is karaoke night,every single night. Starting at 9.30 ,never finished before 1 in the morning, so sleep is impossible. It is cheap hotel,yes but I would much prefer pay a little more and have better standard then staying here agsin."

"Wouldn't recommend even if iys free.cockroachs running free in the apartment and bar area beds are fusty and not comfortable the place is a dump.swim at your own risk the pools are damaged and dirty and no lifts working either.staff always give the impression everything is a task.breakfadt not great.yhis place is up where the locals live so be careful of dogs dirt it's everywhere.the complex is 20 mins from anything that looks like a resort.travel company's should be ashamed to sell this as a holiday.safe to say I won't be back."

"First be aware this is a large complex made up of various blocks with their own pools. So if you are not in main part there is a walk involved and not all blocks have lifts. We were in block 2 which from the outside looks dated but once inside the rooms are large clean and tidy and well maintained. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare food fridge, 4 ring hob, microwave, toaster and kettle. Tv & air conditioning €20 deposit which you get returned. The pools are clean with plenty of sun lounges I can only comment on the pool in our block and main part both had families in them having fun. The main complex has the bar and is very reasonably priced there is live entertainment 6 nights a week and is a good atmosphere. I cannot comment on the food as we didn’t eat there. The hotel is within walking distance of strip 20 minutes or so but Ubers are cheap and plentiful just use the app. Enjoyed our stay there and would go back."
