"Fantastic rooms and scenery. Perfect place to go to for a quiet getaway if you want to escape the noise of the city center. The staff were very friendly and the food was delicious. Highly recommend the couscous."

"We all loved our stay at the Dar Ilham. It was a true haven outside the madness of Marrakech. The pool was wonderful. We had a pool view suite and it was very spacious with a lovely Moroccan feel and a large dressing room which was a bonus. Everything spotlessly clean. The meals we ate in the restaurant were delicious and the breakfasts amazing. Hats off to the wonderful kind and excellent staff who looked after us so well - Karim, Youssef, Mohamed (our driver) and all the lovely staff who cooked for us and cleaned our rooms. We took our own teabags and Youssef kindly would bring us hot water, milk and sugar and a little snack whenever we asked. I certainly hope we will return in the future and highly recommend."

"I have visited Marrakesh 4 times now,it’s my happy place.this time I travelled alone for much needed r&r.I researched the huge list of hotels out side of the medina.I wanted a chilled relaxed quiet place to stay,that’s exactly what I found here.I initially felt it was a tad ‘tired’ but actually I realised it was a pared back relaxed,uber clean..Gem. Karim was wonderful.attentive helpful and always available. The things I loved The quiet The food (A mazing!) Flash (a one eyed resident cat) Cici (gorgeous resident dog) The pool(s) There isn’t a menu here! Strange concept at first but actually fantastic,as whatever I fancied Karim made happen (well the excellent cook did I’m sure!) I ate briouts bastilla lamb chops (& superb chips!) Niçoise salad fresh warm bread great morrocan red wine and (huge) g&ts (with nibbles) I was slightly worried that without a menu (& price list !!! ) I may face a giant bill at the end of my stay,in fact it was the opposite. If you are looking for a genuine chilled home from home stay,this is your place! I will definitely return"
