Hotel Mlini

"Fabulous small hotel in a quiet but stunning fishing village. Spotlessly clean. Helpful staff. We stayed on a B&B basis. Breakfast was buffet style but plenty to choose from. Our room overlooked the sea and was just perfect. Beautiful bathroom with a shower over bath. Toiletries supplied too. Comfortable beds. Bedding and towels changed every day by our lovely friendly housekeeper. 2 mins walk to a shingle beach so remember to bring your sea shoes. No pool here but you can use the pool next door at their sister hotel. No problem getting a sunbed every day. A few restaurants & bars here too. Fabulous Italian just opposite the hotel. The marina is literally 1 minute walk away where you can get a water taxi to Dubrovnik or Cavtat. Be aware that if weather is bad the water taxis don't run & you have to walk about 20 mins up a steep hill to get a bus (which is an experience in itself. Be prepared to stand & be sandwiched in with all the other passengers). It did rain for 2 days and we had an almighty storm 1 night. All the restaurants seem to close if weather is bad as seating is outside, but we just ordered room service & sat on the balcony watching the storm roll in. We had a wonderful week staying here. We were told that Hotel Milini are having their own pool built in 2026, so that will be an extra bonus. If you're looking for a peaceful holiday with a little bit of luxury, then this is the hotel for you."

"We have just spent a lovely, relaxing week at this hotel and would thoroughly recommend it. We wanted a break to unwind from the pressures of work, and this resort and hotel delivered exactly that. It was everything we wanted and more. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and had partial sea views. The staff are the hotel's greatest asset – incredibly friendly and always willing to help. Their warmth really added to our experience. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of options. You could also order items like omelettes, French toast, or poached eggs directly to the table. The bar was relaxing and we enjoyed a cocktail or two after our evening meals out each evening. The weather was beautiful which was unexpected. We also took time to explore both Dubrovnik and Cavtat – both are well worth a visit. We used the water taxi to Cavtat and Dubrovnik which was 15 Euros each return however this added to the trips. Overall, this is a great hotel and we are already planning next year's trip especially as we know the kids would be bored if they tagged along."

"We visited the hotel in October 2025 for a relaxing end of season break. The hotel and resort were very quiet and relaxing. The walk along the bay was beautiful and due to few bars and little traffic it was very peaceful. There was an end of season feeling and the hotel was not completely full. The staff were really helpful and friendly, great service especially at meal times. We stayed half board. Breakfast was very good. Great selection of cooked to order eggs, order when you are first seated. Evening meals were fine. Far less people dined in the evening so the range was more limited but plenty of choice. Always buffet style. Drinks variety was ok, all wines were local and the descriptions never mentioned the taste only the aroma. Ask the waiters for recommendations as some wines were great and others were not. Rooms were spacious and always clean with daily maid service. Our deluxe sea view room had a very limited sea view. Rooms on the right have a better view. See photo. Apart from dining all other facilities were at the sister hotel next door. The distance to the hotel next door was shorter than many larger hotels might have you walk within their grounds. As we were end of season there was no problem to get sunbeds, umbrellas. The outdoor pool was unheated and colder than the sea but the indoor pool was huge and a great temperature for swimming in. The water taxi was 2 minutes walk away with 2 companies offerring trips to Dubrovnik, Cavtat, 3 island tours etc. Both offer similar routes and prices. We initially thought the Dubrovnik ferries left from the other end of the bay, which they do but they also pick up and drop off at Mlini, which was ideal. They were much easier than walking up the steep hill to the bus stop and the journies were more fun. The ferry drops off in the old port Dubrovnik which was perfect for the old town, the bus drops off at the opposite end of the old town, equally fine. If you go to Dubrovnik buy a 40 euro Dubrovnik pass if you are walking the city walls. The pass includes loads of other places, effectively free as its 40 euro to walk the walls without the pass."
