"We booked this holiday with the purpose of going away and relaxing. This hotel more than satisfied our needs. Along with great weather for the time of year we parked ourselves at the quieter pool where the ambience with soft music was perfect. Kirilos was exceptional in his role in attending and serving drinks around the pool. He was vigilant and went about his work professionally always willing to please. Yes towels went down early but for October there were sunbeds to be found. We loved the idea that the all inclusive allowed an a la carte visit, a choice of lunchtime meals at either the Ble Bar or main restaurant and free pilates classes. We used the outdoor Ble Bar for lunch every day as it was a welcome change from the dinning room with good food and the best desserts. Samaria was the perfect hostess at the Ble bar along with all the team. Our a la carte experience was excellent and Evripidis made us feel so welcome. His manner and attentiveness to his work suggested he was part of the management team. Thank you Evripidis for your service. Near the reception you could obtain good grounded coffee and that is where we got to meet George. Maybe not as outspoken as others but he was a perfect gentleman, provided excellent service and nothing was too much trouble. Michaelis upon arrival greeted us, attended to us immediately and upon leaving waved us a good farewell. Needless to say the greek hospitality from not only the staff mentioned but so many others including the towel lady was exceptional. Well equipped gym. Comfortable beds. Great sunbeds Now, if there are any niggles they are minor. Our room 217 did have a pool view but could only be viewed while standing up. I feel the balcony could have been such that whilst seated it could have been open enough to view out. Others were constructed differently. The launderette did back onto our room and in the early hours a lorry could be heard with its engine on. A cleaners cupboard adjoining our room also meant that at 6am we could hear keys opening the door. Despite gowns and slippers being provided we felt some more hooks in the room would help to hang up surplus towels. For what this hotel offers and price paid this was great value but what will stand out again is the attentiveness of the staff, great food and the peaceful relaxing haven that we experienced for our ten days."

"This is our 2nd stay at Stella Blue, our first stay was in May (2nd week of opening) and we loved it so much then, we immediately booked to return in October. We are a family of 4 (2 adults & 2 teenagers) and stayed in a comfort double facing the smaller pool at the back. Check in - smooth and straight forward, online again and nice refreshing drink provided whilst we did so. (We had a 5 hour delay on our flight and as we had arranged transfer through the hotel we were worried about the pick up time change but hotel response via email was quick & reassuring). Rooms - very clean, all amenities that we needed were there, cupboard and hanging space was spot on. Beds, linen, robes and slippers just as we remembered - (soft & luxurious). Both rooms also had sparkling wine as a welcome back (lovely touch). There is also a feature on the door that allows you to select whether you want the room cleaned that day or not (red light shows if you don’t want room cleaned). I think this is a great feature - better than hanging a sign on the door! Also daily delivery of water bottles for mini fridge - nice touch, plus the free safe! Pool - we stayed round the back pool - smaller & quieter - plenty of sunbeds - yes they were being reserved but there were plenty free throughout the day - so for us there was no issue. Drinks waiter service also spot on, no problem getting drinks, yes there is 1 waiter and 1 bar tender but we never had a problem getting a drink - which are all delicious (especially the cocktails). Shop - this wasn’t open when we first stayed but pleasantly surprised (was expecting mark up on products but this wasn't the case) - nice selection of drinks and snacks and other gift shop items. Spa - this also wasn’t open when we first stayed but I am so glad we came back - I booked a back & neck massage as it was on offer (daily notifications come through Spa treatment offers on the Stella Blue app). Wow - the ambiance and feel of the spa is like you are in a totally different place - under ground - pure luxury. The massage was very good and I was then able to use the spa facilities all to myself. I was so impressed with the spa we booked a slot as a family to use the facilities (only 6 people per session)- and it didn’t disappoint - would highly recommend! Gym - well equipped - open 24hrs - towels and water available - I also managed to book a reformer pilates class (never done this before) - easy to book via the app - instructor very clear and knowledgeable. Restaurant - like our first visit - great variety of selection, and felt there was different food for all tastes, for breakfast, lunch and dinner! We felt that the table service had improved since our first visit too- turn around time of clearing and relaying tables much quicker. We did notice a que at dinner for when it opened at 7pm but I have experienced this at other all inclusives, so didn’t find it a problem to wait - although did hear that other guest were not happy? The snack bar - Ble Bar - wasn’t open for food when we came last time and I actually wouldn’t describe it as a snack bar but more of its own restaurant - as it is table service and the food, well wasn’t what I would call snacks either! The menu for mains and deserts is minimal but enough variety for a weeks stay. Although the menu says fish and chips and burger - it is presented like you would expect in any restaurant - again very impressed and with opening times from 12.30 - 5pm gives everyone the opportunity to be fill up before dinner! Entertainment - there is entertainment every night but it is minimal and many people played card games or sat and chatted and relaxed, with whatever entertainment as background noise. This is the aim for this resort to have an ambiance of chilled relaxation, and suited us to the ground. Staff - like our first visit - they all clearly work very hard and were friendly & available whenever we needed them. Again I would like to make a special thank you to Rania (guest relations - no request was a problem) and to George (reservations) and to the whole team - from our first to 2nd visit - we can clearly see the hard work & improvements they have all made for their first season being open! As a family with 2 teenagers we would highly recommend this resort for a chilled, relaxed holiday with idyllic settings."
