The beautiful village relies heavily upon tourism and has a wealth of attractive features, activities and facilities that have made it one of the most sought after holiday destinations on the island.

  • Beaches: There is a fantastic 20km stretch of white sandy beaches next to Budoni with rocky coves to explore and luscious pine forest to wander through.

More on Budoni

Budoni’s beaches are incredible, with nearly 20km of long white sandy shores and crystal clear, turquoise water. Combined with the rocky coves and surrounding pine forests, the views from the beach are truly stunning. The clear water is great for snorkelling and you can explore the marine life even further with Budoni’s own scuba diving school.

The beachfront also offers some great spots to rest and try out some freshly caught seafood or just grab an ice cream to cool you down in the baking sun. Budoni holidays offer a plethora of restaurants, cafes and shops that are dotted along its main street and down quaint narrow alleys, offering a choice of delicious Italian and international cuisine.

From July to August Budoni’s streets are closed at night to traffic and are taken over by a buzzing market selling a beautiful array of gifts and tasty delicacies. For those wanting to venture out of Budoni there’s plenty to see and do. The nearby Porto Ottiolu has a beautiful beach and a picturesque harbour with lovely bars and restaurants and those looking to discover some history can visit the castle at Posada.

  • If you want somewhere a little quieter than Budoni, then take a look at the quaint seaside resort of La Caletta.
