NH Madrid Atocha

"This hotel is across the road from Atocha station. The room was OK but very expensive for what it was. There are two other NH hotels a couple of blocks away, it might be worth seeing if you get better value a little further away from the station. Breakfast seemed expensive too so we found a cafe just around the corner. The front of house bar serves excellent tapas and seems very popular with locals as well as hotel residents."

"Charming hotel with responsive staff, great location to walk to major sites, fantastic rooftop view of the cathedral and Alcazar. Breakfast available in the dining room."

"Great location: An easy walk from the main train station & convenient (20-min walk) to most of the tourist attractions (churches, Prado, park, shopping). Great breakfast (an NH trademark) & our room on the top floor was clean, with a good bathroom & quiet day & night. Only complaint: We expected NH would apply our Discovery $ to our bill when we checked out, but they didn't -- and didn't even ask. Why does NH offer these incentives if guests aren't encouraged to use them?"
