Admit it: you\u2019ve probably never heard of La Gomera.\u00a0Although stargazing experiences in\u00a0Tenerife<\/a>\u00a0and the sun-baked sands of\u00a0Lanzarote<\/a>\u00a0get us all giddy, we seem to have forgotten about the second smallest Canary Island.<\/span><\/p>\n

What\u2019s it\u00a0got going for it? Plenty, as it happens. The entire isle is a designated biosphere reserve, with a landscape criss-crossed with deep ravines and misty forests, sleepy mountain villages and ribbon-thin roads leading to deserted volcanic beaches. Then there\u2019s the Unesco-protected national parks, the island\u2019s own bonkers whistling language and 500-year-old vineyards that produce excellent local wines. Heck, if you need more reasons than\u00a0those<\/em>\u00a0to give La Gomera\u00a0a spin \u2013 well, we\u2019ve got\u00a0lots right here.<\/span><\/p>\n

To reach La\u00a0Gomera,\u00a0take an\u00a0easyJet\u00a0flight to\u00a0Tenerife<\/a><\/strong>. From there, you can take a short flight with\u00a0Binter\u00a0from\u00a0Tenerife\u00a0North Airport to\u00a0Alajer\u00f3\u00a0(around 30 minutes) or a boat from\u00a0Puerto de Los Cristianos\u00a0to\u00a0Puerto de San Sebasti\u00e1n de La Gomera\u00a0(around 50 minutes).\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n
