Long, dark nights, twinkling lights and snow-capped, red wooden houses: is there anywhere more inherently\u00a0Christmassy\u00a0and cosy than Sweden? We don\u2019t think so. In fact, many of the traditions we know and love today \u2013 mistletoe, Christmas trees, elves and perhaps even Father Christmas himself \u2013 have roots in Viking celebrations of the winter solstice, Yule (Jul<\/em>).<\/p>\n
