"Arrival & Check-In My pre-arrival email requests were answered professionally, but were completely ignored upon arrival, except for the view. I was assigned a room right next to the service door with an internal connecting door—the exact setup I had explicitly asked to avoid. Additionally, while the 3:00 AM check-in was smooth, the complimentary welcome drink was forgotten. Room Comfort & Privacy The room and bathroom had minor functional design flaws and incomplete finishes. More importantly, the balcony’s wooden divider is transparent from certain angles, allowing neighbors to see directly onto the bed, which is a major privacy issue. Additionally, the blackout curtains were too short in the middle, letting bright daylight flood the room by 8:00 AM and disrupting my sleep. Dining & Restaurant Shortages The breakfast buffet lacked innovation, presentation, and abundance, with limited choices and disappointing quality in cheeses and cold cuts. Furthermore, the Moroccan pastries were cold and unappetizing, certainly because they were dropped in batches rather than served fresh. Later at lunch, the entire "Seafood Grill" section at Salt & Lime was completely unavailable on a Saturday because the hotel failed to source fresh items from the market, leaving no fish or catch of the day. Pool & Service Only one small pool was comfortably heated (around 27–28°C), while the others were not. The team successfully assisted me with sunbeds in the simulated beach area within the hotel perimeter, facing the sea. However, there was a total absence of F&B staff in this area between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM, forcing me to call reception just to inquire about ordering food. Staff & Overall Verdict The staff is generally attentive, though the team lacked the energetic punch and proactivity expected during a post-opening phase, with some members appearing quite passive. Following my feedback at checkout, a Customer Relations representative proactively came to discuss the issues, fully acknowledging the problems and promising to work on them. While I appreciated this sign of interest, this stay unfortunately did not leave a strong enough impression to encourage me to come back in the future."
