Hilton Garden Inn Bordeaux Centre

"We loved the location, behind the train station but right on the Garonne banks. It is right by a food court, open at night, and there are plenty parking space, including free spots in the side streets. The reception team was friendly, they set us up in a 2 bedrooms suite, with a direct river view, gorgeous. Room was suuuuuuper quiet, and had a Nespresso machine. Breakfast was rather good, serving a large choice, from Canelè to saussages, coffee is ok, juices are industrial concentrate. Room was clean and modern, but started to show some tears on the plinth. Lights and charging ports were plentiful and the bed was top comfy. Very good hotel, and the light rail runs by, making it easy to go everywhere in Bordeaux. The plinth start to show wear and tear and the view from our windows was stupendous, but note to mgmt, our bedroom windows were covered with hand stains, showing cleaning team doing a superficial job. But all in all, a super good and rather well located hotel, the price was very correct, under 180Euros a night."

"A very good hotel for the money. We went for a wedding nearby Bordeaux and needed a hotel that was close to the city center, was modern and was cost efficient. This hotel met that bill. The staff is very responsive, time sensitive and friendly. I found this with the front desk staff, restaurant staff and housekeeping staff. For American customers who are used to more modern rooms and find European rooms either clunky, mixed service or just pretty small -- this is a very good choice. The breakfast offerings are also very good. Would definitely recommend it."
