"Central Location, modern nice rooms, excellent breakfast"

"The room was nicely appointed and very clean, and the hotel is in a convenient location. Unfortunately, there were several issues that made my four-night stay less comfortable than I had hoped. The room temperature was uncomfortable for most of my stay. Because of this, I had to sleep with the windows open, which made the street noise a significant problem. My room was on the 8th floor, but the noise from cars, trucks, ambulances, and people below was surprisingly loud—it often sounded as though everything was happening right outside my window throughout the night. The mini fridge in the room also did not work, so the bottled water provided in the room remained at room temperature. Fortunately, I was able to purchase cold water from a vending machine in the lobby. On the positive side, the room service and food were very good, although I found the menu somewhat limited. The location of the hotel was also very convenient. Overall, I made the best of the situation during my four-night stay, and there were certainly some positives. However, the combination of the uncomfortable room temperature, significant nighttime noise, and nonfunctioning refrigerator means I would choose a different hotel the next time I visit Berlin."

"Large hotel in the center of Berlin, a 5-minute walk from Friedrichstrasse S-Bahn station and within walking distance of Unter den Linden, Brandenburg Gate, Museum Island, and Alexanderplatz. I had booked a superior room on the higher floors. Nice room, very quiet, beautifully decorated. The only downside was that I saw a few clipped fingernail pieces on the carpet during my stay (6 nights), which means it was not vacuumed during my stay, which is unacceptable. No further comments and generally very satisfied. The breakfast was also fine."
