Berlin Mitte by Campanile

"The hotel is visibly aging. The rooms are small, quite loud due to the street, and difficult to ventilate. Very sparsely furnished and, in my opinion, not very high quality."

"We were in Berlin for a weekend on business and about the event the Hotel Berlin Mitte by Campanile was booked. Unfortunately, my stay was not good, a faulty heater that fired continuously on maximum setting led to a sleepless first night. The high temperatures meant that you constantly woke up and had to ventilate, which also did not lead to sleep due to the noise from outside. The next morning the problem was taken care of. At first we asked for another room, but it was said that you were fully booked. But you could have booked over the internet, a pity if you then choose the easy way out with this statement. The problem with the heating has been fixed, but unfortunately the hotel is also so very noisy and in the 1. OG you have all night noise from outside in the room. The bed itself was fine, but the bathroom could do with a renewal. The breakfast was adequate but qualitatively nothing special. Unfortunately, there are no parking spaces, so you are dependent on surrounding parking garages etc. It would be nice if all employees could speak German, of course Berlin is large and international, but that should still be possible."

"Excellent hotel. The location is central (minutes walk from Brandenburg Gate and Berlin Hauptbahnhof). The staff is excellent (they take your preferences and requests very seriously and do their best to comply with them) and offers comfortable and clean rooms with a good view of the Berlin Naturkundemuseum. Although the hotel is on a busy avenue there were no noises that affect our sleep or rest."
