"This hotel is in a great position to explore Amsterdam. Room size was great and bedding etc very very good. Staff extremely helpful. Breakfast was nice too. Would stay here again."

"I stayed with my family at Hotel Sebastian’s, a 4-star hotel overlooking one of Amsterdam’s characteristic canals. The property is in a very convenient location: about a 10-minute walk from Central Station and about a pleasant 30-minute walk from the Van Gogh Museum. It is therefore central, but at the same time slightly tucked away from the most crowded areas, in a very quiet neighborhood. We had a quadruple room on the third floor, spacious and comfortable. We particularly appreciated the bathroom, which was very large and equipped with both a shower and a bathtub, as well as a convenient double sink. Our accommodation did not include breakfast, but we still had the opportunity to try the one offered by the hotel, available for a fee. In this case as well, our opinion is definitely positive. Overall, I recommend Hotel Sebastian’s to anyone looking for comfortable, quiet, and well-located accommodation to spend a pleasant stay in Amsterdam."

"On our recent trip we stayed at this hotel twice (at the beginning and at the end of the trip) and the two experiences were very different, mainly regarding the room. But let's start with the rest. The hotel's location is excellent and the service is in line with the hotel's category. The problem comes with how uneven the rooms are. On our first stay we got a room that, although it was small (everything in Amsterdam is), it was very decent and reasonable. We left happy and waited with high expectations that in 12 days we would stay at this hotel again. On the second stay they gave us a room (No. 228, I remember it well) scandalously small, clearly not suitable for two people. Honestly, for a 4-star hotel to have a room for two people of that size is directly an offense, a lack of respect. Perhaps they should designate that space for a single room (with a single bed) or otherwise designate that mini space for another purpose. Clearly, room 228 should be avoided!!!! As you will see, my overall score is good, but the room issue carries significant weight. I hope future travelers are lucky enough not to be assigned room 228..."
