Tel Aviv Nightlife
Cafe Europa
Cool, but not frantic, this is the place for a sophisticated drink in an elegant setting. Two settings, actually, as the upstairs (dramatic) and downstairs (light and airy) each have a different vibe. Whichever you choose, expect eclectic sounds, gourmet snacks and decent cocktails.

Brown Hotel bar
Tel Aviv finally has a rooftop bar from which to enjoy its stunning sunsets, and fittingly this one is in the city's first design hotel. A good place to hit from 6pm to check out the city's young fashionistas and entrepreneurs decompressing from work over local beer and bubbly.

Abraxas
Long-established hangout beloved by locals for the eclectic crowd it attracts as much as the music. A late, late place that only closes when the last customer leaves.

MAD in Tel Aviv
This giant dance joint comes into its own in winter when beach clubs are closed, so it's best booking a table to avoid long queues. A cosmopolitan crowd props up the bars that separate one dance floor from another, but the music and the LED light show, not the cocktails, are the main attraction.
