Upper Town, the city's most historic quarter, is a ramble of cobbles and church spires, not to mention the odd museum, café, bar and restaurant. Great views of the city too.

Trg Ban Jelacica - Zagreb's central square is a prime people-watching spot so grab a seat in a café and watch the action unfold as trams zip by and the locals try to out-pose each other.
