Cheap flights to Pisa

Pisa combines all the best elements of Italy; medieval architecture, beautiful river views and some unspoilt countryside just waiting to be explored.  Pisa is home to the iconic Leaning Tower, one of the most recognisable buildings in the world. But this is a medieval town that offers so much more.

Come here for an exciting history-filled city break, stay a little longer and explore the beautiful rolling countryside of Tuscany, and finish off by exploring the priceless art gallery that is Florence, just 40 kilometres to the east. Stylish, culture-packed holidays don’t come any better than this

April 2017
Pisa parties each June with the Luminara (16th) when 70,000 candles light up the river, and the colourful San Ranieri regatta the following day. This year it's also Pisa's turn to host the Regatta of Italy's Ancient Maritime Republics (18th), a costume pageant and race against rowing-teams from Venice, Amalfi and Genoa.

July 2017
Spend a day at the beach: Marina di Pisa is just 14km from town. Make sure to end up at the Sunset Café (40A Via Litoranea) to enjoy a drink on the beach while watching the sun going down over the sea.

July 2017
Head to Torre del Lago, just north of Pisa (15 mins by train), an attractive little place on the banks of Lake Massaciuccoli, for the annual Puccini opera festival (July-August). The composer loved it here and built a house which nowadays houses the Puccini museum. www.puccinifestival.it
