Mark Jordan at the Beach
A more relaxed outlet for the talents of Mark Jordan, head chef at Michelin-starred Ocean restaurant, is this attractive bistro in a Victorian building adjacent to the beach at La Haule. Known for his inventive cooking and use of fresh local produce, Mark produces everything from brill to lobster risotto for as little as £25 for three courses.

Tides Restaurant
This two AA red rosette restaurant at the Somerville Hotel is know for its innovative dishes using fresh ingredients. It also has beautiful views overlooking St Aubin's harbour. Try the seared Jersey Scallops, cauliflower mousse and Iberico ham as a starter (£10.50), followed by roast loin of veal, confit of chicken, caramelised sweetbread and cheese and onion gnocchi (£17.95).
