All easyJet flights depart from Terminal 2, first floor.

By road

The airport is situated 11 kilometres south west of Malaga, so if you're on a short break to Malaga you won't spend much time travelling to or from your accommodation in Malaga. Follow the signs upon leaving the airport.

Parking facilities are situated close to the terminal building.

By taxi

Taxis line up outside the arrivals hall, but beware of overcharging by checking the sheet posted on the wall which lists destinations and fares. Elsewhere, taxis can be flagged down in the street or found at designated ranks, and show a green light when available. The journey into the city centre takes approximately 20 minutes.

By train

The train station is a five minute walk from the arrivals hall (llegados). Go up one floor to departures (salidas), take any exit and follow the Ferrocarril signs to the right. You can buy a ticket on the train. Trains run half-hourly to Fuengirola to the west and Malaga to the east. If you are heading for Malaga, be sure you get off at the last station, Centro-Alameda, not the previous stop Malaga-Renfe, which will land you at the main train station, a good 20-minute walk from the centre of town.
A service operates between the airport and city centre every 30 minutes.

By bus

Buses to Malaga depart from a stop outside the arrivals hall half-hourly (6.30am to 11.30pm). There are buses linking all the coastal resorts and several daily to inland towns, including Ronda, Mijas and Antequera which you can catch from Malaga bus station on Paseo de los Tilos (95 235 00 61), or from larger coastal towns, such as Torremolinos, Calle Hoyo (95 238 24 19).

Ferries

You can catch a ferry from Malaga to Melilla run by Trasmediterranea (95 222 48 83). A shorter route to Morocco is from Algeciras to Ceuta (11+ hrs) and Tangier, via Gibraltar (21+ hrs) run by ISNASA (956 65 37 06). There are several ferries a day that leave from Benalmadena Port to Fuengirola and Malaga. Call Costasol Cruceros (952 44 48 81) for times.
