Madrid Airport Guide

easyJet flies into and out of Madrid Barajas Airport, terminal 1.

By road

Barajas Airport is only 13 kms away from Madrid city centre. Take the NII in the direction of "Madrid Centro" (well signposted at the exit of the airport).

Parking facilities are situated close to the terminal buildings.

By taxi

A taxi rank can be found outside the terminal building. Journey time to the city centre takes approximately 30 minutes.

Passengers are advised to check that the meter is running at the start of the journey.

By train

Line 8 (pink) links Barajas Airport terminal 2 to Mar de Cristal Station where you take Line 4 (brown) to get to the city centre (the whole journey takes about 40-45 mins).

By coach

A special Airport Bus operated by the Municipal Transport Company (EMT) leaves from the airport every 10 mins to the Plaza Colon terminal (takes about 30 mins). Costs EUR 2.40.

Line 200 stops at Terminals 1, 2 and 3 and goes to Avenida de América. The bus stops can be found outside the Arrival and Departure terminals. This service can also be used to travel terminals 1, 2 and 3.

Line 101 links the metro with Terminals 1 and 2.
