Exploring Belfast city centre for shops can be a very pleasant experience while on a short trip to Belfast, as it boasts an excellent variety of local specialist shops and high street chain-stores. The main shopping area in the city is around Donegall Place, most of which has restricted traffic flow.

Belfast by road
Travellers by car from Belfast reach the airport by travelling north on the M2 motorway, turning off at junction 5 and then via A57 for 7 miles to the airport. From the north and north west the route is easiest found by coming south on the M2 again to junction 5.

Belfast by rail
The nearest railway station is 6 miles from the airport in Antrim. There are connections to Belfast, Lisburn and Londonderry. Trains to and from Dublin are via Belfast Central Station, which has its own Airbus stop.
Details of rail times can be obtained by asking Information Desk staff. The airport may be reached by taxi from Antrim Station - journey cost is about £7.00.
Belfast by bus
