What is Santa Eulalia like?

This peaceful holiday haven is popular with families and couples who are after a quiet break away from all the hustle and bustle of some of the other parts of the island.

Holidays in Santa Eulalia offer more of a traditional feel, as there is a large resident population, so you can really see how the locals live.

Think back to your best family holiday

One of the main reasons Santa Eulalia is such a popular family holiday destination is its pleasant and safe beach with warm clear shallow waters –perfect for children. The lovely calm waters make it ideal for all sorts of water sports including kayaking and diving. There are also pedaloes for hire.

If you can get past the many luxury yachts that line the town’s marina, pick up a ferry to the gorgeous island of Formentera or the historical Ibiza old town.

You can also continue along the marina that leads to the river and onto the cute little village of Siesta, which has some lovely restaurants.

Santa Eulalia holidays would not be complete without a wander up its charming palm tree-lined promenade. Locally known as restaurant street it offers a complete treasure trove of culinary delights, so prepare to loosen that belt and tuck into a delicious meal at one of the town’s many beachfront restaurants.

Shopping in Santa Eulalia is also plentiful with lots of interesting gift, clothes and jewellery shops as well as a market selling local arts and crafts. There are also some impressive art galleries around town for those seeking a little local culture. Check out San Antonio holidays for a lively Ibiza break with a great clubbing scene.

Where else can I go in Ibiza?

  • The capital of Ibiza Town is well-worth a vist too. A great all-rounder, it has a mix of bars, beaches and shops to keep everyone happy.
  • The island of Formentera is even more secluded and is perfect for those who really don't want contact with anyone else! Accessible only by boat, this island is located just off the south-west pennisula of Ibiza.
